    Exactly, it’s a crapshoot everywhere in November…even up in northern N.E. Some years it’s feast, and some years it’s…Not.

    Yes and no on that. Some years ya see it early, sometimes ya don’t. It has no bearing on the season as a whole imo. Plenty of great seasons started snowless in November.

    Imo This is possibly gonna just pop up on most guidance when the OP runs finally recognizes the block, and how it plays into the scenario.

    Prett much bare here…except for some oaks, and they are going fast now too. It all depends on the location..some have quite a bit left, some almost nothing.

    It’s only one day. I’m liking it myself. But wouldn’t want it lasting for a week at this time of the year.

    Perhaps I should have said: I don’t think it’s setting up. Transient stay for a few days to me isn’t setting up. And, Is there science behind a huge mega block -NAO happening in late fall, and it coming back during winter too? That’s an interesting question to ask too?

    That’s on par with snow in October means a ratter winter. Ya sometimes it happens…but no science behind that really, all Voo-doo.

    You’d think that mega block would cause some crazy/or exotic things to happen if we have a system in the area? No?

    Yup 14-15 was incredible. 10-11, Feb and March 2013, 02-03, 95-96, 93-94, 77-78 were all good winters for deep pack snow on the ground.

    We never had it to begin with lol..it was all fantasy. As Scott said…it doesn’t look that bad..just not as good as it did yesterday. You know the drill, we’re just messing around. It’s all good whatever..

    So perhaps it was just a pipe dream after all..since as we’re getting closer to the end of the month things all of a sudden are heading in the wrong direction now…. then again tomorrow it can all change yet again?

    Seems volatile though from run to run…very changeable as we would expect 7-10 days out. So things can pop/change as we close in.

    That block could be just fantasy too being 10 plus days out. Let’s hope it’s legit…or the wait for any winter weather will go on. Which we all know is not uncommon for late November/early December. But it’d be nice to get on the board come the end of November.
