Yup…this one’s not ours, but ours is coming. Feels like early December out there…41 degrees and clouding up. Raw day for sure.

Takes me about 8.5- 9 hrs to get to Madawaska if it’s a dry trip. I’ve never driven to Richmond so I couldn’t comment on that. -
I think if that does come to fruition, those -850’s will catch up(become more impressive) as we move forward in time.

Jerry, Stadiumwave posted the strat vortex at 10 and 50 mb, which is the strat vortex. I believe George has it right when he asks about the polar vortex(which is the strat PV) in this instance…at least the way that I understand it.

Any freezing rain you get will be insignificant/minor at best imo. I wouldn’t be too worried if I were you.

Congrats and enjoy to those that see some flakes and especially some accumulation…the vast majority of us will have to wait a lil longer.

Isn’t that 50 mb more important for us being it seems to influence the sensible weather much more often than the 10 mb? But I guess the take away is it’s showing the PV splitting and the bigger node on our side of the pole in both depictions…that could be fun…no? And that JMA H5 looks quite nice.
