  1. Yes sir, me too, or I would have remembered that for sure. Probably a dusting if that here..
  2. Oh ya…I remember the 1980 frigid snap very well…brutal. But I don’t remember any significant snow on Xmas of 81?? Usually that stands out in my mind..must have been very minor here.
  3. I don’t remember any December 81 snow here…must have been an eastern SNE thing of course….
  4. Off hr runs always have different/odd/bizarre stuff going on, more often than not. ECMWF should get rid of the 18z and 6z crap imo.
  5. We got one storm last year that dropped a 6” spot here….the rest that brought us up to a whopping 12.3” for the season total, came from 1/4” here, 1.5” there, 1.75” here, 2” there, etc …what a disaster.
  6. Yes, ”97-98” was the super nino.
  7. Take the under lol…but then you know that already.
  8. Last year was the worst winter I’ve ever experienced here…12” for a total, when you average 50” that is bad. 11-12 was awful too but had about 18” here…so last year was even worse, the worst ever.
  9. Yup..remember it well, except for that one storm, the winter sucked. But it was sandwiched between two historic winters(93-94, and 95-96).
  10. Oh I get ya Wiz about the occlusion…but if that northern stream is heavily involved as you mentioned, then she probably isn’t staying south.
  11. Doesn’t have to be all that strong to deliver huge amounts of precip though…but like I said the other day…keep it south.
  12. Lol…he bunned me? Geez I even prefaced my post with the caveats that I’m not saying it’s Dec 92, just that what’s being shown on at least one of the models, is a little reminiscent with highly anomalous precip and all… Tough crowd.
  13. Dec of 92 was like that here…tons of precipitation, with heavy heavy rain, that transitioned to frozen precip almost 18-24 gets after it started, and snowed the whole next day. Now Before anybody says I’m saying this is Dec of 92, I’m certainly not. Just comparing the amount of precip that looks to “possibly” be associated with this thing, and seeing some other possibilities that “could” be on the table, that somewhat reminds me of that Dec 92 idea.
  14. Kevs ice storm he’s been fantasizing about ..perhaps?
  15. Yes sir. And December here in SNE is a crapshoot in any Enso phase.
  16. To be honest…all this longer range stuff has been abysmal of late. I don’t think we can put any reasonable credit into them at the moment. Tough time for modeling.
  17. But it’s only December 12th..And it’s(winter) already been cancelled(we’ll at least to the end of January)…these folks didn’t even wait the extra 8 days lol.
  18. Ya, was gonna say I think it’s an 850. Great strong motor! Wow…nice that it’s a 2020, and those are incredibly low miles. Very nice find. Nothing like some new iron to rejuvenate you for the upcoming season. Let us know what you think of it please….
  19. Nice Jeff! Congratulations….you were due. Looks great. What year…17? 18? Very happy for you. Doesn’t matter what happens here….we’ll be riding up north. All the best with it.
  20. I’d actually be fine with that… let the SE get the rain.
  21. That’s for this Friday…I thought the system was for later than that?
  22. Ya, that 94-95 winter wasn’t to good. It featured one good one though, other than that it sucked. Hope it doesn’t turn out like that. It was sandwiched in between two historic ones though…
  23. I’m cool bro. I just despise trolls. I’m good..back to the weather.
  24. I was trying to make a point. I don’t care either. Agreed.
