Ya, it seems to be back building as you mentioned too.

Lol…not looking to blame anything. Just pointing out it’s a massive bust out here. I couldn’t give two terds in blaming anybody, as you said, sometimes it just happens. But it’s still a big fail for this area.

But I assume it was tossed/discarded as an extreme outlier right?

What a bust is right….the day of now and it can’t be forecast. Friday it was mostly dry for today. Yesterday it was 50% chance of rain for today. Today we drown.

No…nothing like that. And Let’s hope not, kids go back to school here on 8/29, so let’s hope it isn’t anything close to anything like that.

Been raining good all morning…heavy now. Washed the truck Friday afternoon…was hoping for a few days of dry conditions. That did not happen lol.

As was/has been said, it depended where you are/were. Gloria came right up over CT, and it was legit hurricane conditions here. Best tropical experience I’ve ever witnessed. Out east it wasn’t much for you guys. But she was strong here. Conversely, Bob was nothing here but some drizzle/rain, and breezy winds of 15-20 mph. So nothing exciting at all with Bob.

Gloria…It was decent here in 85. Best I’ve seen since. Isaias wasn’t as good as Gloria here. But then again it shouldn’t have been cuz it wasn’t a Cane! Gloria was legit here. The eye came right over us here.

Oh wait…didn’t you hear? It’s only hot now. It wasn’t hot back then.

I didn’t argue that. I just said nobody knows the future was my point. Sometimes Things change in a week. Sometimes not. But go on thinking you the bomb.

I completely understand…and I agree. Just don’t like the arrogance at times. That’s Just me. And I realize that at times, it’s more in gest so to speak too. All good.

Let’s just get a storm up here at some point, to break up the monotony for heaven sakes.

Not at ALL! Never!

Sure..it’s easy to sniff out, but at times(and it happens) the sniff can be wrong. We’ve seen it many times. More often than not, your sniff will be correct, but if something is off, it changes things down the line. Especially at a week plus out in time. I know it’s more of a ball busting thing for Ineedsnow and DIT, but I just don’t like that kind of an attitude with regards to a science, that has so much chaos built in to it as meteorology does. Point is, nobody knows anything for certain that is a week out in time/into the future. Educated assumptions/you pointing out your ideas, that you pros recognize early on work most times, I get that, but not all times. Bottom line for me…at 7-8 days away, there should be no football spiking in either direction.

This is what I don’t like…Arrogant. Nobody knows at 7+ days out.

I spent about 2 minutes the last week on it, so it isn’t a big deal for me. I don’t wait for model runs, and watch every move it makes as others like to do. To each their own on that. If it were to become imminent or threatening, then we invest. I just hate the know it all “tudes.” It’s arrogant and not needed at 7+ days out.

This thing is, and has been a complete disappointment. Next.

Minimal Cane…the hype on this thing far exceeded its actual performance. Sad part is that this seems to happen more and more.

Hype sells…especially to the ignorant.
