3/12/05 started as rain here…but flashed to snow around 9-10 am here…they let us out of school early cuz it went crazy. Busses and cars stuck everywhere. Was a great event that wasn’t supposed to be much.

I can understand that. But I remember you saying this in December this year when it quickly got cold…and has stayed cold. So it can wear folks down.

Sun goes down here at 5:33 today…and hour and 7 minutes later you noticed western light? Wow, can’t say I witnessed the same.

Yup…the 2-3 nice days next week will just be a tease…she shuts the door hard afterwards.

That’s why it would be nice to grab that one on the 3rd…cuz it’ll be cold after that. But that needs to get a lot closer in to even take remotely seriously.

Sad part is it probably will…but it’s just too far out there at 9 days. We know how these go. But as depicted, that would be a great way to end the winter.

Not trying to change anybody’s ideas…just saying it’s been a below normal winter for alot of the country. And some areas that almost never see cold(very very rarely) were in the deep freeze…and still are. Too bad in SNE, we couldn’t capitalize on it. But other places further south(and a lot further south in some cases) certainly did. It was nice to dee the cold come back.

We’ll, Not this year it wasn’t…not even close. Not even in the Deep South. Snowed everywhere..even in places it doesn’t snow(unfortunately for us it wasn’t here-bad fortune). Nobody saw any of that happening. So Mother Nature showed us we don’t as much as we think we do.

Don’t buy into the over attribution and nonsense. If you listened to the hype, it shouldn’t have been this cold all winter either. And Florida and the gulf coast- 40 miles out into the ocean getting a full blown blizzard with over a foot of snow, did anyone think that would be possible. And all the cold records going down in the Midwest and south this week now…ya don’t buy the hype. We’ll be just fine.

Ya..that’s good. I’ll be back from my last trip up north on 3/10, and I’ll be ready to pack it in at that point. So I’ll take that sequence.

I said this on Wednesday…the snow and ice are hanging tough. It’s been cold. A few days of warmer temps will obviously start melting it quick, but then it’s back to the freezer.

Lol…the people in northern Aroostook call that area SNE. All kidding aside, congratulations on your move, it sounds real nice. Next year that area will get fringed, and SNE will get buried.

Where in Maine are you moving too? Southern areas along the coast aren’t a whole lot different…but once you get inland and a little more north, it gets significantly colder.

Cold/grey/raw day here today…forecast hi was 31, but only got to 27.
