Hey everyone let me know your final reports for anywhere in NY LHV into the city and LI and central and NNJ, Ocean and north. I went through the last 2 pages but it seems most aren't final yet. Should end up near 8" here.

Some totals around the area so far. Nearly all of these reports are old, and not final so be careful using this for verification i would say until about at least mid morning, afternoon. You can probably add 1-4 to a lot of these. @40/70 Benchmark I'll be putting a map together for this one as usual but have to wait for cocorahs and COOP this morning which usually report around 7AM. The good thing with this event is it falls under one reporting day for cocorahs 7AM-7AM so it wont be split over two like the December 14th event. thanks thats helpful to know for Brooklyn I dont know why this map has like 0 reports in NJ and around NYC. I know theres at least 1-2" there. I think upton does this thing where they dont post anything under 2, thats why you only see tenths of an inch and generally reports less than 2 in the PHI CWA. https://www.weather.gov/source/crh/snowmap.html

What a disaster that storm was for SNE. I might get close to the Boxing Day total when all is said and done.

Well ASOS already recorded 0.20 liquid and all snow, at least the hourly reports so i dont see how they could have less than 2. So it's gotta be at least 2" I,d say +/- 3" by the time it's done.

Radar is back filling, hope yall can pick up another 1-3 overnight

Radar backfilled nicely as excepted. Should get another 1-2 here on top of the 7" or so that has already fallen.

Looks that way but you can start to begin to see it filling back in on radar. Most of the mesos including the HRRR have several more hours of light to mod snow even upwards of 1"/hr near the city, whether or not that materializes to that degree we will see. I but i certainly don't think its over even for your guy's area.

I really hope in and around the city and NNJ gets to at least 3, thats all i want

Feb 7th, 2017 was a cold storm we were in the upper teens to near 20 mid-afternoon with whiteout conditions. Thats one of my favorites even though amounts weren't anything to write home about.

how much in Brooklyn so far and whats the current wx

3" in one hour in North Haven, not my ob. 6" in Pawling, NY 6.5" in Woodbury, CT

Looks like OKX/PHI cut back on amounts and downgraded warnings to advisories for Somerset and Middlesex. Saw that coming, glad we went conservative there

Snowing close to 2 to perhaps 3" per right now. 2.9" in one hour in Bethany I wish i timed when it started but it wasnt more than 45 min ago or so and theres already 2+ Snow growth is phenomenal

Airport totals are really suspect from that storm. ORH and BDL specifically. But those were the official numbers so..

Possibly though 10-18" in W CT is still quite a lot I dont think you would get much complaints from SNE considering how that played out..The Boxing Day Fiasco. Underperformed most areas save Berkshires and that stripe from Essex to Bristol counties Tri-State might have something to say about it though - ha

Really missed an opportunity to call this Boxing Day II: The Wounded Duck Not a classic and historic nor'easter like Boxing Day but a large warning level event for a lot of SNE/Tri-State i think deserves the sequel name, especially if it over performs. OVC/25
