  1. i smell a block coming. Someone get James an inhaler, he's having another one of those weenie hyperventalation attacks
  2. Thats great and all but what about the SREFs?! We need to know, it's killing me inside.
  3. It's doing it's own self-aware zombie runs on an Windows XP machine. Skynet is real.
  4. last run 10-31-19 haha. i really miss those old style panels that NCEP had in the early/mid 2000s. Their new interface is less user-friendly, the UI/UX was just better i thought.
  5. what happened to the CRAS model? I was recently looking at some old threads and there were lots of posts about it
  6. They're really holding onto a gem right there (no pun intended). Discontinue that pos and put more resources into the GFS. I look at it (with absolutely 0 weight for forecast influence) for every storm. It's a dart board, it seems to be well N just as much as it is South. I used to look it too with actually seriousness when i was still naive and thought all models were equal more or less in the 2003-2006 era. Didn't go so well for forecasting.
  7. Free: Tropical Tidbits Paid: WeatherModels I thought you were a regular user of TT? P.S. can you check your PMs please
  8. i always giver a looksie just for shits when theres nothing else more to look at it. It's def a good run on the worst model known to man.
  9. This storm is a big pile of dung for most of us in CT
  10. Despite all the doom and gloom and negative energy (in general) for the upcoming pattern, i hope everyone reading this has a wonderful New Years Eve & New Years Day. P.S. #FreeLeo
  11. It trended better but still by no means snow to the coast.
  12. Poor uncle Leo with that scarlet letter. Maybe it's time to remove it? He seems harmless, i kinda feel bad
  13. Lets see if we can get 10 weenie reactions to that snow88 post, break some records
  14. I'm so bored im reading old threads from the 2011-2012 winter season. That oct storm was incredible, sad i missed it. The thread about wiping out the NWS and all weather moving to the private sector was also hilarious. Lots of threads for storms that never panned out like Feb 19th 2012 and something in late Apr?
  15. oh i thought those were 2 different users
  16. Well after a good cold 33 and rain soaker it's always nice to end off as some mixed -IP/RN Winter 2020
  17. which is it? sleet or hail? is it even possible to tell if theres both?
  18. I lived in South Lake Tahoe for over 6 months during the summertime and hail was like rain there. I swear i must have seen 6+ hail events (large hail) easily. Everytime we get a severe storm it would hail there. Most hail i've ever seen in my life occured in a two month period.
  19. I'm not sure what the odds are. We just had a tornado with hail just over a year ago in the hamden area. I mean im pretty close to the coast so it's like once or twice in a lifetime here but well interior southern new england i would figure its like once every 5-10 years? I don't know, just guessing. I just thought interior locations around the hudson, W MA, N/NW CT see hail events frequently in the summertime.
