  1. That happened like a week ago, we were all talking about it, where you been? Or is the even more now? looks the same to me.
  2. meh. ill take what we can get. BOX and ALY zones in CT going all snow with no mention of anything but. I find this rather interesting considering we are looking at a storm on Saturday and it's Monday.
  3. Nothing, but given the pattern and this system that would be the worst case senario (or best for warmest temperatures possible). I believe thats what he was getting at. It's impossible to get 70 and sunny.
  4. no one ever talks about that thing and ive never looked at it before.
  5. Yeah im getting really sick of that too, and not just with this season. It happened the entire 18-19 season starting in November. The only time we didn't get a snow to mix or rain storm were the two in early March. Mar 2nd and Mar 3-4 were both all snow. I feel the same way. Id rather have an ice cold teens or low 20s daytime all-snow snow storm at this point with 4-7" than a 6-12" nighttime snow to mix to rain bullshit storm. That compacts and melts down to a few sloppy inches the next day.
  6. He just barely missed out on the 18-24 just to his south last storm. Somehow the reports only show 1-4" for all the cape and islands. P.S. whats going on with Tropical Tidbits?
  7. I'm at 7.0" for the season, if i don't get a single tenth more i can tie the all time ratter, the ratter of all ratters of modern times. 2001-2002. 7" Unlikely to happen though. I'm thinking a +/- avg winter, more or less.
  8. It's crazy that the two biggest storms of the past decade had jackpots in my home town and my neighboring town, i live right on the hamden boarder so im basically in hamden. 30.5 and 40"
  9. BDL now at 68, we have a chance at 70 there. Record broken by 8F
  10. ah i misread BOXs tweet. Glossed over it too fast i suppose. and yea the many ******
  11. Oh you mean this? The one where my town got the higest snowfall anywhere in New England? The one i missed? Oh that one..
  12. Update: KBOS at 70F, last time they reached 70 in January was 1872
  13. KBDL smashed it's previous record of 60F by 7 degrees, currently sitting at 67F KBOS smashed it's previous record of 62F by 6 degrees, currently sitting at 68F KORH smashed it's previous record of 58F by 4 degrees, currently sitting at 62F KPVD smashed it's previous record of 61F by 3 degrees, currently sitting at 64F
  14. Video from a late effect band that dropped 28" in 4 hours. This is an average rate of 7"/hr which means it's very likely that at times the rates we above that number in the 8-9"/hr range and below that 7 too. I realize this is pure fluff probably 20-30:1 but in the video it really never looks more than 2-4"/hr rates, visibility looks to probably drop to 1/8th mile. I would think at 7"/hr or more that vis would be reduced to near zero or just a couple hundred feet. What do you guys think? I believe him, it's just the video isn't really reflecting those kind of rates (to me)
  15. i'll be sure to update everyone on the rain totals
  16. Last 16+ in far SW CT is really 2016. This is my #1 over the past 5 years. Perfect storm in all aspects. Only thing better would be to take those numbers and X2 em.
  17. That was Dec 15....60s xmas eve and day Dec 14 was also horribly warm
  18. i haven't looked at canada for this, but i know its winding up and dumping snow there. However, given the speed of this thing i can't see it being more than 6-12er for you. Highly doubt you come anywhere near 24"
