  1. The end is near, should be able to get to 2 around here.
  2. Personally i thought this was great, probably one of my favorite all-time moderate advisory lvl events for many reasons.
  3. New Reports: Clinton: 7.0" Salem: 5.1" Hamden: 5.0" North Haven 4.5" Winchester: 4.5" Canaan: 4.0" Southbury: 3.1"
  4. 2nd that. Theres nothing worse than a 6" snowstorm in December/March/April when the plows dont even have to go out and everythings black and wet. Happens here all the time in death valley.
  5. Coming down steady now. Still light snow. Roads are still wet but theyll cave soon. Hoping for an inch.. Radar update..
  6. Radar update.. The dreaded Clear-Air Mode has arrived...
  7. Well see after i collect all the reports what it looks like around CT. But at worst we'll be an inch-ish too high for N CT and exactly in range for S CT.
  8. impressive! Looks like most of the state will end up in the 3-7" range. Maybe an 8. Hoping to grab another 0.5-1.0 in this final band to put me in the 5-6 range. Radar..
  9. 2-4 North, 4-7 South is going to probably be close to final. Maybe a few reports slightly under 2? Possibly an 8 spot from those 6" reports yesterday, well see. 33F with White Rain. Probably completely done here. Nothing can accumulate even on raised surfaces etc
  10. 5.5" event so far, nice. There were a few reports of 5.5 and 6.0 from yesterday alone i have to imagine they are close to or around 7" now. When we have these long duration storms and there is settling/melting in between it makes gathering reports at the end 10X harder. Some people clear, some dont and you get a wide vartation in totals. This is relatively minor storm so it wont be that bad but it can be when you have like a Mar 4-6 01 type of deal.
  11. Thats also probably adding totals with clearing...since this is such a long duration. I got 3.1" yesterday, cleared in the evening then got another 1.0" tonight and this morning. I bet the snow depth from the event though is still hovering around 3" with the settling/melting from the sun angle today. If i just stuck a ruler in right now and didnt measure since it started id prob still be at 3".. Its pretty much white rain right now on the streets.
  12. Took some photos last night when i want out for a walk. Was one of the nicest winter nights i can remember, felt like being in VT again. Dense tiny flakes falling and coating everything up, roads covered, even the main streets. My phone camera is pretty shit but w/e i like em.
  13. Any new reports from SW or S CT from last night/today? @Brian5671 @WeatherX @Mr. Windcredible! @metagraphica @Hoth
  14. Based on all the reports ive sifted through and recieved, we picked up an additional 1-2" across the state last night and today so far, generally. This is a map of about where we are at now, and is only an estimate. 3-6" fell across southern CT yesterday. I picked up 1" additional. I bumped that range into the 4-7" range as an estimate so far and removed all the old reports of 5 and 6" that fell yesterday. Northern CT reports are all from here and other up-to-date reports i could find. Obviously map is not final, and is just a rough estimate so far... By 4PM yesterday By Noon today..
  15. 1.0" last night till now. Light snow. 28F 4.1" total so far.
  16. That was supposed to happen...itll slide SEwd overnight into tomorrow morning. The main WAA slug is what missed SE.
