    Thats a little different from the warm/black highways with low albedo and lots of cars passing over it. I was looking for traffic cams but couldnt find any from there on the ct.gov site Connecticut Traffic Cameras | CT Traffic Cams | CTroads i could have sworn they had Enfield cams at one point.

    i doubt it...yet. Highways with the treatment they put down its probably just wet. Everywhere south of Enfield is probably still mostly rain atm as well.

    My expectations were 0.0 and it looks like thats going to be the reality so i can't say i'm disappointed. But i am annoyed that we wasted good potential (yet again) and probably have to wait 8+ months for the next snowfall here, barring some freak event. O well.

    8.9 on the season about as bad is it gets. BDR & NYC looks likely to break their all-time records though. Some heavier echos moving into southern CT

    different world up there, enjoy. 40 and rain. Coming down at a pretty good rate. Here's the pcp/hr rate right now. Some pretty moderate to heavy stuff making its way into the southern half of CT right now.

    West hills > East hills with this storm for sure. Doesn't mean it's not going to snow there. I feel pretty comfortable with you seeing warning snow, but probably low end. 41 and rain right now.

    Map looks like shotgun spatter but aligns with what im thinking for the southern 4 counties. 0-3". 0" at the shore and low elevations and up to 3" at the higher elevations, surprised there is even an advisory with a map like this.

    Thats surprising coming from the HREF. I just don't buy much accumulation during the day Tuesday for a lot of the state outside of the NW/NE hills. I'd gladly take 6-8" here though, but that's not happening. Watches went to warnings for tolland and windham but watch remains for Hartford.

    After seeing the 00Z suite and specifically the EC, i feel good about our map, in fact i even think it may be too high. Hopefully tomorrow trends better but i doubt it. Id be shocked if those watched in Fairfield, New Haven, Hartford dont get converted to advisories, the rest im guessing will be warnings.

    Yeah i can confirm that here. Elevations from 100-550FT in Hamden picked up 1-2" here while 0-100FT were raining and in North Haven we were raining 0-200FT with rain and some snow mixed in >200FT for a while with no accumulation. It was really extreme down here.
