97-98 was OK in the Shenandoah Valley with some elevation. We got a lot of front end blitzes of snow that would change to sleet/rain, and then end as snow.
And I get why the Bills were trying to run out the clock (for the reasons you mentioned), but I was like - that shit could come back and bite you in the ass.
so brutal - you have to feel for the kicker. I feel like Allen had a guy open about 10 yards downfield on that 2nd and 9 but he went for the endzone. Oh well.
The Ravens look unstoppable - gonna be an epic game.
I was in 6th grade - we still had like 15-20" of snow on the ground and it was gone in 6 hours!! My neighbor was driving us to school with like 40-50mph winds and temps going up into the 60s lol.
Rivers might get a little swollen and I'm sure Old Town will flood (it floods if someone spills their drink in the Potomac), but we had worse flooding earlier this month.
Same here! Low of 18 here, looks like high is going to be 25-26. A bit warmer at the airport - high of 28 with a low of 23 (so far). I think we'll both set the low for today later tonight.
In all honesty there a TON of beautiful neighborhoods all across DC that are spectacular in the snow. Many neighborhoods have pretty extensive tree canopies.
i was shoveling while it passed - not too much damage. i'll probably put down some ice melt. Man the Tenleytown Ace hardware store has been a life saver - I freaking love that place.
