On the stadium, Mendelson and Bowser HATE each other, but honestly Mendo got a much better deal out of the Commanders. I've had my issues with him, but given the timeframe they were given, he did a good job here. I am generally against NFL (or other big) stadiums in an urban setting - but this has to be an exception. First, there is already a stadium there, so it's not like you are displacing a bunch of people to build it. Second, the access is WAY better than Fedex/Northwest Stadium. You'll have Metro right there, a ton of bus routes, a highway. They are gonna build housing, stuff for DC youth, etc. All in all, it's a good deal. And Harris and Co actually believe in and want to support DC, unlike that POS Snyder. We know that because they were very open to working with Mendo about making the deal better for DC. Snyder would've told them to take a hike.

DC Council votes on the Commanders RFK stadium plan tomorrow. Both Mendo and Bowser say they have the votes.

was taking my daughter to her camp on the bus today - just suffocating. the next few days are going to be awesome. While we've been having Florida-like weather, in Florida it's been like the Persian Gulf lol. Tampa had temps around 100 with dews in the low 80s, so it somehow can get even worse.

According to the WP, this was the most humid July on record for DC.
