  1. Seems to be going in waves. Lightens up then picks up again
  2. Interesting, good for them! It's dumping here. That's why I don't get worked up if we get fringed by the storm. Usually they still give us some fun times even if it's not feet.
  3. That's how I felt driving from Bretton Woods to Bartlett when I lived there. That's why now I live amongst the moose and the bears...
  4. Snow has picked up again in intensity and switched from the sugary type to larger flakes
  5. Measured 2" on my deck (didn't feel like venturing too far lol) but then I noticed that the other side has like half a foot, so there's some drifting going on and probably more than 2" in reality. It's actually turning into a nice little "bread and butter" event
  6. Just about an inch here; often with these systems the fun comes as the storm pulls away ad the NW flow gets established along with residual moisture, but we'll see... not counting on anything this year!
  7. 0.2 this morning. Which at this rate is more than we'll see from the upcoming storm!
  8. And while it’s definitely lean, we also need to remember that we have had more snow days so far in this awful season than most people in most of the country see amo am average winter. It’s nice to have climatology by your side. What sucks the most to me is the fact that glades can’t open. That’s my favorite thing.
  9. Ironically we lost more snow today than during the “cutter” that everyone feared
  10. Pretty strong inversion. It’s 19 in Littleton and 40 in Bretton Woods
  11. In the meantime, it’s -8F out. Brrrr
  12. A nice snowy evening. Eyeing a couple of inches
  13. Conditions today were close to perfect other than the thin coverage on the few natural trails open
  14. But what a day for skiing. Conditions were just about perfect. If only we had more snow this would have been amazing
  15. Bretton Woods has been quite good, but all groomers. Other than the fact that most of the mountain is still closed, the skiing is good
  16. Certainly the case here. Not a deep pack and only 1/3 of the groomers open, and glades only open for a day or two, but the combination of light snow most days and snow covered trees has made it feel nice and wintry - certainly a lot better than last year. Surprisingly though the ski area seems pretty empty, not nearly the crowds we usually see, even though people are here (we are sold out of homes)
  17. Crazier things have happened. Which is why I said the other day when I giggle when I see people debating what the temperature is going to be in 10 days
  18. Seeing people discuss the temperature 12-14 days from now makes me giggle. If I had to shovel the snow that is often progged for 12-14 days out I'd need an army... No offense but I don't think ANY forecast beyond a week has any clue
  19. Getting some unexpected heavy snow squalls
  20. Interesting concern about the fast charger availability, but they also keep building more and more of them. I’ve never seen them at more than 25% capacity even in Boston (and the app tells you how many slots are available at any given time)
  21. Yes at this rate this storm is slowly working its way to a warning event snowfall - just spread out over 3 days so nobody cares
  22. I thought they had released a fully electric F150 already? I actually think it would be pretty cool. One thing that I should mention is that the Tesla is incredibly fun to drive. The acceleration is incredible and the motor responsiveness makes it a blast to drive around. I’d imagine a truck could have some impressive power.
