  1. Also...can we take a few moments and just admire what this defense is doing? This may be the greatest defense we've had since 2000. Wow
  2. One of the BEST. I mean we now could have two explosive backs in our backfield that were UFAs P.S. I won't be mad if he takes Justice Hill's spot, lol
  3. Yeah Dobbins was just some bad luck...It was a fantastic 2nd round pick talent-wise...just the dang injuries.
  4. And the one Niño wasn't even a legit nino...so having 5 of the last 7 years be your historically least conducive ENSO certainly did not help, even with some of the other stuff going on. It'll be good to get a good niño to see where we're at overall.
  5. Stop. Unless there's something currently to suggest we may not, why even go there?
  6. I continue to believe OBJ's time is later in the season and the playoffs when it matter most. And Zay may not be a No. 1 (yet) but could have legit potential to be one. Bateman...yes, health! That's a gamble...but gotta see what you have. But notice...while you could find a flaw with them individually (I mean Zay's main thing is just being a rookie, not exactly a "flaw")...these receivers together present a legitimate threat. I would bet my next paycheck receiver is not at the top of the list. This is in no way a desperate enough receiver situation where a trade is a necessity (besides the room is already packed, lol) We invested a LOT in that area through both the OBJ signing and drafting Zay. We are not about to invest more draft capital for that, imo I mean it was THE focus of our off-season after all. Our fanbase has a bottomless want of a "true No. 1" (and I get that given our history)--listen, this is the best receiver room we have ever had overall (not like they had a lot of competition, lol) I believetThis group as a unit can get it done in the playoffs...and again, OBJ is a sleeper for the postseason if you ask me.
  7. I think we're good at receiver. Agholor is not a main reciever...he's one of a group. Even with his inconsistencies, this is the best situation for him...because if he has issues, the others can pick it up. I am concerned about him in the clutch, yes...but it's not so bad we need another receiver. I mean for crying out loud we got Zay, Bate, AND OBJ along with Andrews. We need to focus on maybe running back or an extra pass rusher.
  8. Now see this isn't even fair...GFS trying to make me fall off the better posting/non-posting wagon before December
  9. Yep. Pay no attention between Dec 20th and around mid-Jan (barring some unforseen wrinkle of course)
  10. Alright, since it's still the "off-season" so let's have an honest discussion on this. What I haven't understood about either of your perspectives is...after 8 straight years of mediocrity, why do you expect the discussion to be more positive? And "negative before things happen"...well I mean, like watching a team have an awful season.. negative result after negative result will do that. Is it really a mystery? Is it realistic to expect people to be all positive during this drought? Or is it more...Yeah I get why folks are feeling negative...but they should just shut up about it? Lol
  11. I'm not sure we can say with any certainty it's our best shot. Since things don't seem to work the way they used to...I'm reading everything Saud and it seems like a ton if uncertainty to me about if this acts like a nino, fully couples, etc etc... That being said, I think it's safe to say we'll get more than last year, lol
  12. Yeah man you and HM could have a battle of meteolinguistics, lol This layman was trying to decipher something you posted the other day and I was like "Whaaaaaaaa...."
  13. Because there's a possibility this niño doesn't act like a nino? I mean that's what I got from that post...but maybe I didn't read it right.
  14. Yeah the last few posts were kinda depressing...The part it looking like El niño in th3 southern hemisphere but more niña-like in the northern...and that we made need to throw out the rulebook, per se...that just made me roll my eyes (not at the posters but just the fact that it could be yet another niño that may not act right). This is like fans of a losing team bracing themselves for what new way their team may mess up. Lately we don't do "unusual" well, and I can't remember any of these new "wrinkles" working to our benefit. I just want a regular nino to see what we can get...but instead is it gonna be like..."Oh this niño didn't do what ninos normally do", and hence another unknown about where we are, smh Hope that's not the case!
  15. What, to give them an urban heat island out of pure spite?
  16. Ah okay--that makes sense. Yeah I'll never forget 2003 for just how deep and wet that snow was (neither will the B&O Railroad museum). My scrawny 12 year-old body would sink into the snow and I had to grab onto something to pull myself up, lol First 2 footer I was old enough to fully remember (1996 I have a fuzzier memory of)
  17. So you can still have wet snow even with teens?
  18. I thought 2003 was more of the heavy and wet variety? (I had assumed heavy and wet meant 28-32 degrees)
  19. Yeah even here it was like low 20s if I'm not mistaken.
  20. Our snowiest history has always been..."just cold enough". Very seldom is it 20 degree cold powder (I think the 2016 blizzard came close though, didn't it?) 28-32 degrees...But now we gotta see if "just cold enough" still exists! That's why I'm rooting for this Nino so we know where we're at. I do hope it still works...but we'll see.
  21. I don't think they will. We don't need to be any 7-0 right now. I think "Don't peak too soon" is a very real thing with the Ravens. Both times when we peaked early and got the No. 1 seed (2006 & 2019) we got bounced early! For whatever reason we do better when we gotta fight for it a little more. Last two SB championships we did the WC at home and went road the rest of the way, lol
  22. I can roll with that...because that would be at least one good storm which is more than what we've had, and Aaron Rodgers throwing during warm-ups as a potential bonus we'd never expect
  23. Unless the worst happens with the AO...then we'll be bemoaning Hunga, lol
  24. Yeah even with lowered expectations and the unknown of what still works, if HTHH ruins an otherwise good look we haven't gotten in years, that's gonna hurt given what we've gone through. C'mon we don't deserve that, lolol That would be Jets fan luck
