  1. Says the walking encyclopedia of what can possibly wrong
  2. Sounds like you're already worrying though...lol
  3. But the fact that only one of those worked for us (2009) shows ya how difficult it can still be. Not the best history, lol Another reason to keep expectations tempered...
  4. Even if we were to just get a piece of the 12z GFS solution...anything that falls would easily stick around for Christmas with those frigid temperatures! We shall see...
  5. And THIS is where the hobby can be it's most mentally treacherous. Like, logically, you know...you KNOW we got a long way to go, and so much can change. But emotionally...the temptation, lol
  6. Verbatim it is still closer to the coast than 12z so...the trend is our friend?
  7. I think @CAPE hacked the model and made that
  8. Diggy diggy diggy, can't you see H5 look is gettin' troughy
  9. I'm telling ya there is an addictive quality to this hobby that has us lookin' at this when we ain't got no business doin' so, lolol Probably everybody on this board has done this!
  10. GFS definitely gettin' more diggy with it this run...But still day 8/9...I'd imagine we see improvement on the ensembles as well
  11. Because we're the Mid-Atlantic and we need multiple dice rolls, lol
  12. Oho really...Boxing Day: What could possibly go wrong? Lol
  13. Around the TN valley would be nice Now, apologies if I asked before, but...the Commutagedon storm (late Jan 2011)...we went from rain to snow (in fact that's the last time I remember that order happening, lol). How did that work again?
  14. Sounding the doom alarm at 3 am? Man you about to have people wake up depressed, lolol But yeah I hear ya...not what anybody wants to hear about where we're at. I'd love for you (and these runs) to be wrong. Otherwise you're right--no point in tracking anymore, really. Now I could go gloom and doom too, but...you have more standing to do that than I, lol
  15. Doesn't that look kinda weird, though? It dumped teens into San Diego earlier...lol Not worth panicking about at this juncture...especially with the lack of support on the ensembles earlier (and I'm guessing tonight)
  16. 2003 was the first 2+ footer I fully remember (was only 5 for 96 and have scattered memories). Now THAT snow was both heavy AND wet...I remember my small 12 year-old frame falling in the snow and having to crawl over and grab onto something to pull myself up! Great memories
  17. You can admit it worried ya, lol (I think to some degree we all do it for a split second with a bad long range OP run, lol)
  18. Hey even if Chirstmas Eve/Day doesn't give but an inch or two...that would still be a white Christmas and better than 2002! So if we can even get a little just to cover everything, it would still be quite picturesque...Glad there is potential...there's just SO long to go, lol
