    Man I'm tired of trying to will that purple line north enough to Baltimore...a game I've played too many times since 2016. Have no clue why it's been so hard for southern stuff to get up to at least here. I mean I'll still enjoy this because it could be 3 steps above dcenery snow, but I am kinda disappointed just because of recent history. It's just hard to get it up here lately, smh

    Exactly why we in the area are a little uh...on tilt at even the possibility of another northern fringe. It's just been a bit of bad luck with banding (like that time a WAA thump in 2021 snowed west and east of me), and for once ya just want it to work out.

    Honestly? I think it's more so therapy for perspective. We spend so much time focusing on snow particularly when a storm is imminent. All that mental energy spent on it can create a false appearance in the mind of a storm total being a bigger deal than it actually is. At least...that's what I observe in my own psychology.
