Oh yeah I hear ya. Not saying it def is wrong...just that the track record of it vs. the world hasn't been great this winter. But then again we can't trust anything to be good this winter...so there is that, lol
But wait a minute...Remember last month when the GFS was totally on it's own showing a favorable solution for literally DAYS before finally folding? That's why I'm not sure how much to trust it right now, lol
I can't remember the exact day...but wasn't there another weekend "threat" that made it all the way to Tuesday? (I feel like it was late Jan or earlier this month)
Hey, nothing wrong with being an optimist! The line between optimism and realism is a bit blurry. So the optimist side can say perhaps this time can be different...realist side becomes pessimistic knowing what we wentthrough! But hey, in only takes one time
Brother, I knew I'd hit an all-time low with this hobby when I checked a GFS run during a service, lolol There I was behind the keyboard watching that dang PV lobe suppress snow to NC...instead of focusing on what I needed to! THAT was bad
Well technically there was another threat a week or two ago that made it to Day 5...so let's see where we are Monday...so we get to Wednesday we can talk!
Now when things like this happen, I have difficulty distinguishing between something that's an anomaly vs a symptom of other things. Any thoughts on which category this would fall under?
Ah I see--Although, given how this winter has been, it may be safer to assume morensleet for something like this until we see a colder push with the 540 show up on future runs. Not impossible of course....but ya know, this winter
