    How can you say that, after spending the entire day hitting a little ball, with a club, through grass, weeds, sand, trees and finally water. All that to make it disappear into an almost invisible hole. You know I believe your right, the heck with golf, stick to the sport of Moderating. It’s much more satisfying. You also can’t lose.

    Not a punishment at all. Who could complain about watching an adult, with a big stick, hit, almost invisible, little balls around thousands of yards of turf, rough, water and sand only to try to get said ball into an equally invisible small hole. “Not me” I’m fine with it. As always .....

    Ref knyc your on safe ground. There is a greater chance for the sun to rise in the west than to get an accurate measurement in the park.

    Focusing on the weather climate is a lot more enjoyable than following the political climate. Considering the above predictions there doesn’t, at the moment, seem to be much of a difference.

    True friends are rare, aquaitences many. When necessity forces me to the roof of my Cobble Hill row house I look to the east at the growing Brooklyn skyline. I also spend a moment gazing east of north at the Freedom Tower, remembering sadly. Now I also gaze to the north and west and wonder how privileged it would have been to run with the wolves. For memories and dreams, I am truly greatful.

    A friend of mine said, after I was trying to explain what I obviously didn't understand, " cut the crap and use this" he handed me a weather rock. Told me to put it in a clear open area and if it's wet it's raining, white it's snowing, if dry, I can figure out for myself. He did have a point, at least, where I'm concerned.
