The 12Z GFS has a total of 0.00" of precip here for the next 16 days. Not sure I have seen a complete shutout on that model before.

Quick hitting line dropped a half-inch of rain in about 10 minutes earlier. Seeing some ground fog forming now in the farm fields. Really pretty with the light of dusk.

So far the high temp has been 70 at Martinsburg. If that stands, it breaks the low max record for the date of 71 set in 2003.

Had 0.60" at 7:00 a.m. Been a steady light rain since then that's dropped another 0.25". Up to 4.84" for August.

Caught the tail of a nice thunderstorm cell earlier today that dropped 0.34” in about 5 minutes. Some nice CG strikes and 25-30 mph winds.

The 12Z NAM 12k and 3k are very wet here. More than 2" through tomorrow on both. 12Z GFS says less than 0.05" Glad its not winter.

Spending Saturday to Thursday at the Delaware shore. Looking like a pretty wet period. Hoping for TS conditions at some point.

I read earlier that you had been largely missed the last couple of days. Was happy when I checked radar leaving work to see that cell held together for you.

Third day in a row with storms here. Today had the heaviest rain and more strong winds like the last two days. 1.53” in a short time this afternoon, after 0.64” yesterday and 0.36” the day before.
