  1. sadly it takes everyone to keep their weenie-isms in check in order for it not to become a disaster.
  2. pffft, ill let the rain wash it all away yeah that post was really out of character for you. asking for sanity.
  3. just giving you a hard time. i hope it snows for all too.
  4. i realize you just recently left the subforum and may have forgotten how we operate around here... but...
  5. awww shucks, thanks friend! hope yours melts right away and you disappear again until the next threat
  6. yeah, i hear you. people just need to realize that most snow maps include sleet as snow. which is highly misleading in this case. poor ji.
  7. i agree, it is sad. as your map includes a lot of ****ing sleet, while the map i posted was snow only. enjoy your sleet!
  8. sweet, so 5 inches of sleet and 1 inch of snow for me.
  9. i'm not that worried, but thanks. its gonna do what its gonna do.
  10. shows precip getting to DC by 12z (as snow) then the flip to rain by 14-15z. Has my backyard riding the 32 line through 00z snow map (mostly sleet than snow)
  11. if it were the middle of the december instead of november, our current air mass probably would be colder, colder grounds, etc. it makes it easier to put down a really good front end thump when its already cold vs hoping the cold gets in fast and hangs around for a bit. mid-november storms where people see warning level snows isnt all that common in our area.
  12. i dont know about you, but i find my husband to be the most sexiest when he drops a poop or two, while we are discussing what to make for dinner.
  13. I didn't look too closely yesterday as i took the day off and went to visit my kid at school. Looking today, just at the GFS, there is quite the warm nose around 850 to deal with. If the precip comes in hot and heavy, like others have mentioned, then perhaps that column can cool completely. But soundings, at least for my backyard, are pretty damn sleety for tomorrow. with that said, I am going to take a laptop home tonight and perhaps work from home tomorrow to see what happens. don't want to miss the first wintry event!
  14. Ava Marie has 2-4” for the northern areas, higher amounts as you go west. I think 2” is a good call for my backyard.
  15. Tommy T has 3-4” for my backyard in his forecast. Sound about right?
  16. Facebook reminded me that today in 2013 I got accumulating snow in Parkton. So snow this early does happen! .
  17. Sooo I guess I should prepare myself for some snow Thursday
