And the regular NAM just joined in and came well west. It now gets heavy rain pretty far west into NJ. Can't completely discount the Euro, but it seems very unlikely that it'll be right since it's alone.

It's going to be horrible if the Euro ends up being right. No rain in sight after saturday ... we'd be looking at a whole month of no rain.

I'd sign for a half inch right now. Just give me enough to give the vegetable garden a decent watering.

That would be brutal with the heavy rain missing most of NJ just to the east. Hopefully the HRRR and 3km NAM will be correct about the heavy rain making it back into NJ. Obviously an extremely difficult forecast right now.

And the new run of RGEM tonight has us down to about a tenth of an inch. 12z Euro was decent, but it's hard to be very optimistic right now with RGEM and NAM giving us hardly anything. Enough time for the situation to improve, but right now it isn't looking great. The ground is going to be parched next week if we miss out on decent rain saturday. We'll probably be looking at 4 weeks in a row of no rain if saturday doesn't work out. That would be horrendous.

12z Euro gets decent half inch rains pretty far to the northwest. That along with the CMC keeps hope alive that gardens will finally get a nice watering on saturday.

It hit 77 here today. Spectacular weather with 100% sunshine and dewpoints in the low 30s. Probably a top 10 day of the year.

Yeah I'd rather not have it on the weekend, but I'll gladly take it since we really need the rain. It's very dry out there ... we haven't had anything at all since that heavy rain event at the end of April. Hopefully Euro will be right about heavy rain saturday afternoon into saturday night.

I see Euro now brings the rain in much earlier too. A lot of rain saturday afternoon on the 12z Euro. Maybe saturday is gonna be the rainy day instead of sunday, but still a ways to go before we figure out the timing.

And last night's CMC gave us nothing at all for the weekend. Hopefully GFS and Euro are right about the weekend rain, but obviously it's too far out there to be confident about it.

Last night's Euro gave us a good amount of rain saturday night into sunday morning. Hopefully it's right, because it's very dry out there. Not a drop of rain since I planted tomatoes and warm weather vegetables a week and a half ago. As MANDA said, it's a terrible weather pattern for gardeners. Having to water very often to keep the plants in good shape. Hopefully saturday night into sunday will work out because it's our only chance. The situation will be very bad if that doesn't happen.

It hit 88 degrees here. Feels pretty good with the fairly low humidity.

That surprises me because the tree pollen came out incredibly early this year due to the extemely warm winter. I started feeling my allergies in mid February, the earliest I can ever remember. My allergies were bad in March and April, but now they're calming down.

Beautiful weather, but the ground is very dry again. Obviously we needed a drying out period after that heavy rain a couple weeks ago, but now it's going to be too dry. The rain is going to miss us to the south on saturday and next week looks dry. A lot of watering will be needed.

High temp of 80 here today. Absolutely beautiful ... felt very comfortable with the low humidity. More spectacular weather coming for wednesday and thursday.

Still looks as if the much warmer pattern will start on sunday. We should see mid to upper 70s next week. Looking forward to the warmer weather.

Great soaking for the garden and I'm glad we're wiping out the rainfall deficit, but yeah hopefully we won't have any more weekend washouts for awhile. I see 12z Euro took away the rain for next saturday. Hopefully the models are right about nice weather next weekend. Also looks as if we'll get back to nice temps in the 70s starting around next sunday.

12z EURO showing a rainy weekend too. One batch friday night into saturday and another sunday into sunday night. 2 to 3 inches for a lot of the area between the 2 batches.

Yeah saturday's rain is looking more impressive now. 12z CMC gives us a nice 1 to 2 inch soaking saturday, similar to last night's Euro.

69 degrees here right now. Perfect Spring weather today. Hopefully we'll get a decent soaking saturday night. Several of today's 12z models are giving us a half inch to inch of rain.
