Don’t know anything specific about spots like domey’s, but 242 was packed all day. There’s two freeze cycles underneath about 12-18 so I think it would be good to go. .

It’s insane..unbelievable for November…skis almost touching the snow on the Jet lift .

Yeah, it’s still going here. Wind picking up too. We’re probably 2-3” ahead of you. Nice event to fix what could have been a disaster on the slopes. .

It was more like 2.5-3 overnight here…stopped at some point then started back up around 730am. 5” measured since 930 when it was shoveled. It is really good out there. Last year thanksgiving weekend was best in years, but this is better… .

Stowe…foggy af early on, but best November 24th I’ve ever skied. Upper mountain was good! .

Upslope was a dud..probably about 3” total..big difference from valleys near jay like Montgomery and Stowe village at 750’ in snow cover. Mansfield is in good shape tho, but can’t see shit at the top. .

A measured 1.5 at 1850’ at 11pm from the clipper. Lull from 10pm on, but starting to pick up slightly as the upslope takes over. .

“This is jay peak. It’s the snowiest spot in the east, period. We’ve gotten a shit ton of snow. There’s a shit ton at 1800 ft, there’s a larger shit ton at 4000 ft. It has been snowing a lot, and it’s been really windy and there’s a shit ton of snow. In some spots, there’s 4 feet, in some spots there’s a foot. Wherever you ski, there’s a shit ton of snow” I think this would be a more effective snow report and prevent the endless debates over what we all know is a shit ton of snow, skewed heavy due to obvious marketing embellishments and lack of precise measurements when numerical values are put on it. .

Perfect temps and no superstar to build this year has let them go wild. Being able to blow multiple nights at 2000 ft also probably helped. .

#1 for this date all time and with lots more on the way, not even close… .

I’m not there but it’s snowing pretty good right now from what a few friends tell me. Webcam no help, but you can see it’s getting blown all around and must have come down decent for a while, as that’s from today. .

Next week is setting up to be another incredible upslope week. Just really starting to enter unprecedented territory for this time of year in the northern greens. From a skier prospective, it looks like a big have vs. have nots in vt. The difference in the totals for the jay/stowe/smuggs/bolton corridor vs. killington south looks dramatic. .

What a snowmaking window as far as the eye can see. Light em up tonight and it’s off to the races. Lots of chances for natural and great temps. Could be a real nice start to the season. .

Jay on since yesterday… .

It was grapple all day; nothing spectacular…started dumping right around last chair. Very firm on groomers, woods had enough fresh to make them decent…only Bonnie from lunch on. The glades off power line and upper milk run were very good, but keep your eyes open as there’s stuff popping up. tmrw will be good. Tons of base for mid April. If you remember that it’s mid April, it should be a great day. .

Man, “decent” and “respectable” for wintery vibe is the best you can come up with, lol. It hadn’t rained in 2 +- months, no thaws, BN temps and number 6 out of the last 70 years in terms of snowfall with refreshes every 2-3 days. Total snowfall somewhere between 300-400” in the northern greens with more than half of March to go. I’d go with outstanding winter for northern Vermont. .

Here’s the extra 8 feet…drifts burying the street lights. Please no more jay slant sticking talk. I wish they would just report, see pf’s report and add 10-20 percent, lol. .
