  1. I rather have the 3-6" of rain then another cloudy boring week with low 60's and drizzle. Cloudy, 60 with drizzle
  2. 71 degrees with a nice breeze. Perfect evening for some high grade legal weed on the patio and a little fire in the fire pit.
  3. Oh wow. I see that. Looks like a possible soaker on the way. The grass and garden will be happy.
  4. This reminds me of winter when we're supposed to get a week of cold and snow chances. Then it ends up one cold day followed by 45 and rain for a week. Back to the 7 month November next week.
  5. Yeah. My point and click now has more of the same after a couple warm days. Low 60's and shi**y starting Saturday and lasting most of next week.
  6. Temp dropped pretty fast until midnight. I made it to 34 before it stalled then slowly started rising after midnight. I was happy to see that. I was starting to worry about serious damage to my potato crop. Up to 41 now.
  7. I just can't wait to catch some god damn crabs. F**k this pattern. Water isn't getting any warmer when it's 35 degrees at night.
  8. Nice stormy evening here in AA county. Pouring rain with waves of lightning and loud thunder. I've always loved nights like this.
  9. Who's the clown? Could a moderator please remove the troll. Thanks
  10. Fedex has but they are just little bs mask. Cheapest possible of course. We wear them in the facility but once we're on the road we don't need them. I put mine on only when inside buildings. I tell people to stay away from me when I'm in residential neighborhoods.
  11. I guess contact tracing doesn't matter when you're just a peasant that works in a FedEx facility with over 200. At least 30 that were exposed to someone that tested positive 7 days ago. Nope. Not a peep from the CDC or lord Hogan. Business as usual Monday morning. Hopefully we don't get a big outbreak this week the the processing plants have. I hope you fokes appreciate the people delivering your stuff. We're risking our asses to get it out there.
  12. I hope these N95 mask are as good as I hear. The FedEx facility i work at has its first confirmed case. It was only a matter of time when over 200 people work in one building. He was there last Saturday working with myself and about 75 other people. I didn't have contact with him at all but I clock in the same room as everyone else. The "lockdown" didn't effect FedEx or any of the big box companies. The dangerous places are the flower store or the homebrew supply shop. Walmart and Home Depot are totally fine. Working in a huge facility with a confirmed case is also fine.
  13. 2.18" in the bucket again. My area has been wet spot for the past couple weeks. Lots of standing water around and creeks are running high.
  14. I work for FedEx. I work in a facility with 150 trucks and almost 200 employees. It's a huge wearhouse with major airflow and we try to stay away from each other. I rock a N95 mask with a nylon skin over it to pull it extra tight and seal it up. Once I'm out on the road it's multiple pairs of gloves. 99% Isopropyl is what I use for disinfectant. I love the stuff.
  15. Radar looks good for a nice rainy evening. Still pretty chilly here. It seems like the warm front pushed through then retreated an hour later. It looks like i had .53"ish last night and this morning. it's only 55 degrees. Might have to start a little fire in my woodstove this evening.
  16. Ok, good. I thought my new rain guage was faulty when I saw 2.25" in it. It rain harder then I thought.
  17. I just got a new one a few days ago. My old one was junk and cracked when the water froze. It's out there collecting rain for the first time. Just applied some nitrogen to my corn growing soil. This rain is perfect for melting it into the soil.
  18. I'm growing a 1000 pound crop of potatoes this spring. I only need 400 pounds. The rest i plan to donate. Home gardens are key. I suggest people plant what they can and help neighbors. Corn is next up soon as this cold pattern passes. Everyone plant veggies!
  19. That's seed potatoes. The haul should be 800-1000 pounds. This cold might delay harvest this year if it kills off the emerging seedlings.
  20. If you want an early spring plant that handles cold really well try potatoes. I've got 100 pounds of potatoes in the ground right now. They have been emerging for the past week. They'll do fine even with frost. If damaged the potato will shoot out new shoots.
  21. I'm slant eyeing it and saying.. yes! I see flakes. 39 degrees in the potato garden.
  22. Looks like over a 100 let out of isolation. That's positive for sure. More are coming out then going in.
  23. We have no idea what happened in China. They certainly aren't telling the truth. I'd be willing to bet a paycheck that millions died in China.
