  1. That's true but also a fluke year. I hate relaying on a perfect track storm. Without real cold they usually end up the way the last storm did.
  2. Those of us east of DC pretty much do. That's probably half this fourm.
  3. Amazing how accurate models are when it comes to heat and cutters. They can nail exactly where and how much snow will fall in the Midwest from 10 days in advance.
  4. If true then there's seriously something scary going on. I've been surfing in Cape May, NJ in July and the water temp was 55. I'm starting to believe in rapid climate change. Oh look.. another 10 year flood on the way. I've had about 6 once a decade floods this year. Probably the same last year.
  5. So it isn't mega front like the last one? That 20 degree drop over 8 hours and flash freeze that finally happened 8 hours after the front was super mega lol. Mega rain is a lock im sure.
  6. All these people whining about the long range looking like crap (as usual) crack me up. Didn't you all get a 4-10" storm already? Here in my crappy area we've had flooding rain and deep mud. It's been years since I've seen a winter storm warning.
  7. I was thinking the same thing lol. The temp plummeted to an amazing 31 degrees by 5pm. A few days ago I saw temps modeled at 22 degrees by 5pm with 30-50 mph winds. Winds is 7 mph and it's hardly below freezing.
  8. Looks like a 3-5" snowstorm on radar. Heavy snow just sitting there. Models pretty much nailed the location yesterday. Im sure it will just snow itself out in place.
  9. Nothing as usual! Sucks always inside looking out.
  10. I'm not sure. Unfortunately my rain gauge froze and cracked. I'd estimate probably 2"+. That never fails here.
  11. The maga front, like most of our weather was pretty lame. No flash freeze. Going from 55 to 34 over 7 hours won't do it lol. No wind and not very cold. Hopefully I get my 1" of snow HRRR is showing.
  12. Of course it's true. The models are deadly accurate when it comes to screwing us.
  13. Wow! That's crazy. They look like text book perfect hook echoes. Up to 58
  14. What if I spit Deer Park spring water across the room through my nose? 57 and waiting on this blob of rain to my south. I haven't been impressed with my flooding tropical Christmas rain storm yet.
  15. The wind is roaring right now. Must be gusting 40-50 mph.
  16. Doesn't look like we're going to be in the max precipitation area for the first time since July. Kind of a bust here. Doesn't look like we get anything for at least a couple more hours.
  17. I feel like that happens as much as cold chasing precipitation. Seems like the strong dry NW wind always dries the roads before it's able to freeze. Regardless.. at least this front will be interesting.
  18. Didn't you get snow already? Here it's the same as last year. Plenty of mud and 45 degree temps. Last year was 55 with lots of mud. At least the mosquitoes aren't as bad this winter so far.
  19. Jesus.. you get in my nerves, but you're always right lol
  20. Best post I've seen in a while. Almost sexy lol
  21. Sounds like my girlfriend. What's it mean? White Christmas or 75 degrees?
  22. Same here. Better quality too. Nice and cold right now.
  23. So... who mentioned snow? I walk by a window and out of the corner of my eye I see what looks like white on the sidewalk. I flip on an outside light and it's a damn winter wonder land lol. For a site that goes on 100 pages for some slush, how did I not see a mention of it here? I figured we'd be following this for days lol
  24. Yay rain in Severna Park. Not like im surprised but the flip is coming for central MD.
