Sounds and feels like a spring morning here in the forest of AA County.

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I feel like recent Octobers have been hot and dry. This has been a beautiful October. Hopefully we'll get some of those fresh powder blue bird mornings this winter that I remember as a kid. I remember going to bed with snow in the forecast, sneaking to the living room window during the night and seeing it dumping. Then wake up to dark blue sky and 8-12" on the ground.

Another cloudy day. Mostly cloudy and 55 outside. Sunny and 78 in my greenhouse. 500 watts of LED grow lights make up for cloudy days with low sun angle. Looks like they will be running full blast this weekend also.

I'm harvesting some huge buds sparkling with resins right now. These cold nights have brought out some beautiful purples in my OG Lime Killer plant. Happy croptober! -

I'm in Annopoils right now. It's pouring and and wind is ripping. Looks like a tropical storm.

Looks like a fire hose setting up to our SE, and headed our way. Seems to be a lot of convective stuff firing from Salisbury, N&E. It might get pretty wet here soon. The rain is picking up here.

The wind is getting noticeable stronger here in AA County. I live in a wooded area. It goes from calm and silent to hearing a gust coming through the forest from the SE. It's becoming more frequent and stronger.

I was waiting for the little break for taking a walk. I'm grabbing shoes and I hear it pouring again.

The past 2 hours it really tightened up. I bet it's a hurricane.

Indeed. I'm working ot today to get everything buttoned up. I've got a 10' tall cannabis plant in full bloom that I need to build support for. I'll be out in the dark tonight doing that. Ugh.. legal weed lol

By the look of this thread I figured the storm went poof. Some very interesting weather on the way. Wake up, people! We have a soon to be tropical storm basically moving up the bay tomorrow.

GFS looks interesting. Looks like another home brew system next week than a hurricane making landfall on the gulf coast at the end of the run. Maybe we're past the boring drought.

I agree. I've got to kick on my little heater in my greenhouse. My "tomato plants" are spoiled and don't do anything under 70 at night. It will probably get to 58-60 here in the lowland swamp.

I'm to your SE, just east of Crofton. I'm sitting in what looks like a perfect spot for a possible flooding situation. I'm bringing in my important plants and I'm hearing rolling thunder in lots of direction. -
Looks like things are starting to pop. Another day with storms moving south to north. I've got some dark clouds developing to my south and radar confirms there's water starting to pour out of them. And there's the first rumble of thunder.

Still out here.... smoking weed. I'm get a really cool lightning display. The storms headed into PG and AA mean business. Man... ground shaking missiles. Looks like big rain incoming for my area.

Down here in the swamps it's sounding like a classic summer night. I was just sitting outside enjoying some really tasty cannabis (weed) on my patio while listening to the storms approaching from the south. The insects sounds and the rolling thunder reminds me of being a kid. Minus the weed, of course.

I'm in Williamsport, MD. I'm in a little valley with the wind blowing right now a ridge just off to my west and SW. I'm in a open parking lot washing tractor trailer trucks lol. My guys aren't happy. It still feels dry and truck reads 102.
