All you can do is identify the period.....if in every instance said potential was realized, then we'd average 200". Obviously I'm hoping for another big ticket, as always, but this season has already bucked the trend for mod-strong cool ENSO to avoid big impactors.

It does.....the value of frequent refreshers.....especially this time of year, when the sun starts to cook the snow along the roadsides...it gets nasty looking quickly.

Not what I said. I'd just like some beefier events that target a bit further north..that's all. Jesus.....its been a great month, agreed.

I'm not melting. I'm just bored with the season/pattern...that's all. I don't know why that pisses everyone off so much.

I would like a hugger that drives the CF to I 495 again....that was fun....not these meager events where we are forced to squint to make out any semblance of lift of fronto.

TBH, I'm fine with that risk...willing to roll the dice, as opposed to resigning myself to 2".Tired of losing to SNE...lets get back to climo, and have @dendrite take me to the shed. No complaints about this winter, but I'm honestly starting to think about baseball and warmer weather, save for big events....yes, I know people like Steve will remind me that warmth is quite a ways off...I get that.

Yet again, I am on track for just about the lowest snowfall relative to avg in all of SNE....three consecutive seasons...el nino, la nina, good season, bad...just doesn't matter.

I knew I should have trusted my instinct and not fell for the BS on the models yesterday. Fronto and lift were so weak, yet 12z EURO tried spitting out like 6 and7" totals...should have stayed at 2-4 or 5".

The CF got to I495 Feb 1, but as if often the case, that really doesn't limit snowfall much outside of 128...it just makes it wetter. Wilmington area still got more, it was just wetter.
