I'm not thrilled skiing at Sundown disabled. The trail layout is not great. Either boring and flat or steep and icy. 70% of the runs funnel into Exhibition which gets crowded and icy. They don't make snow to resurface after a thaw. It is close by and handicapped parking is a short distance from the slopes

No I can't balance my hands for turning. My arms are too week. The sled has a steering rod and the ski's angle to let me turn. I pull back on the rod to brake. I ski tethered to my instructor. The sled is locked down and spring loaded and pops up for getting on the chairlift.

Yes that was me. Skied standing up until March of 2022. Just too weak currently to ski standing up. Been doing adaptive skiing at Ski Sundown for 2 years. Did alot of skiing with my son. He's taken up skiing again and will be with me on December 27th.

Sit down sled type skiing. I can turn the ski's with a handle bar and control braking as well. I need assistance loading and unloading the chairlift.

Ski Sundown started snowmaking on December 1st. Currently making snow. Last year snowmaking started on December 8th with opening on December 13th. I'm thinking opening is sometime late next week. My first lesson with adaptive skiing is booked for December 27th. Can't wait to get back out.

19F currently. Forecast low of 6F. Still full snow-cover.

2" here in Enfield. Snow from 11am to 1pm. Then freezing rain until 7pm. Temperature staying below freezing.

Overcast and 32F. Town plow came by now that the freezing rain is over.
