  1. I think with the variability in numbers of tests per day and the correlation of that and reported cases per day, a 5 day rolling average is a better way to look at it. Linear increases are better than exponential increases yet far worse than decreases. Plot above is for MA only.
  2. Not saying it WON’T happen, but a gigantic rise in core inflation was predicted after actions to staunch the Great Recession. I don’t think it really ever showed up since we have stayed near or below 2% since.
  3. Watch numbers of deaths not cases. Case numbers will go up with increased testing. The metric for how we are doing is going to be deaths per day.
  4. Not so much mechanics... more thermodynamics.
