calculus1
After four straight days of 100+ temperatures, my PWS high yesterday was “only” 96. We also got a couple hundredths of drizzle. Still need much more.

Ernest T Bass
I think I missed rain to the south and east about every day this week, except for one day where it missed to the north! Maybe this weekend we can all cash in.
calculus1
Well, I have a very rare tornado warning right now. Severe t-storm capable of producing a tornado. Radar indicated some rotation. I’m not too worried. Tornados in these parts are just cut all to pieces by the terrain. Usually very short track and not too intense.Hopefully, we get some decent rain out of it, though. calculus1
Wow. Crazy totals for you in McDowell County. I have right at 1.25 inches. You tripled my total.

Probably some the heaviest/most consistent rain I’ve seen in quite some time. It’s still just the nerves from Helene but I swear the water just drains and flows differently along the creeks, in my yard, in culverts, etc. Makes every rain a little nerve racking

It’s one of those escarpment rainy days where hardly anything shows on radar but I’m just staying under steady rain all day.

Storms have missed to every direction the past 4 days and we have less than .2. Luckily we got hit good last week.
