Chinook Posted 6 hours ago Share Posted 6 hours ago The Whittle–Somerset–London–Lida, Kentucky tornado has been rated EF-4 at the Sunshine Hills subdivision and EF-3 at and near the London Corbin Airport. In total, the tornado went 59.9 miles. Quote Officials at the National Weather Service office in Jackson, Kentucky, said Tuesday that the tornado that tore through London was rated EF-4 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. The survey found that the twister had winds of 170 mph as it tore a 55.6-mile-long path across Pulaski and Laurel counties. At one point, the path was nearly a mile wide.
