While I do love snow, I would give it up to live by the ocean.

It really is struggling to accumulate, even grassy areas have only begun to cave in downtown.

I'm not sure we make that 3-5" range, hope I am wrong.  Just feel like I have seen this movie before.

It’s wild the difference between downtown and Bon Air. The grass, trees, and elevated surfaces have been coated for over an hour here, even despite the small flake size.

Short pump on off ramps  now snow covered .. heading to Powhatan bridge  starting to be snow covered 288 ok for now .. heading back in 30m

roads caving in C Chesterfield.  Still sitting at 32.  Grassy areas and cars are completely covered.

Yes looks like it's snowing pretty good by you on the peninsula. Nothing's going to stick till after 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. The cold dry dome is taking its time moving south. DPs tanked up north. Im watching the progression on the Va Eastern Shore as enough has already leaked into Northern Norfolk and Virginia Beach where it's been snowing a little bit.

Finally getting to a point of "game on" in downtown.  Grassy coating and less traveled, sides of streets, starting to cave.

1PM: Snow really picking up in Midlothian. Many roads have finally given up and are now snow covered.

Yep, temp and rates seems to have found a sweeter spot downtown now.  Awaiting, the HR liability email, sending folks home soon.

Precipitation shield is really filling in nicely now from the south.  Looks like the Richmond metro is about to get a heavy band.

What’s nice is it’s still snowing in KY.  We have a ways to go before it wraps up. Last storm moved out much quicker.

Rooting for you all from Chicago.   Plenty here to share, we've had the snowiest start to winter since 1978 and even more on the way. Happy to see my first winter here going well.

Awesome!! It just started raining a short time ago. Very light. Temperature down to 41. After 3:00 your streets are going to cave. It's going to be a nasty Rush Hour for Hampton roads. Glad I'm home.
