You got that right! I was going to go for a lunch run be decided against that after stepping outside real quick. We have warmed to 81 here since the sun came out.

It seems like there is a boundary slicing right through the Metroplex that doesn't seem to be moving, could be eyes playing tricks.  I see the one northeast of Metroplex though.

Looking at Obs, the dryline looks to be somewhere between Stephenville and Granbury.  Got a pronounced eastward bulge to it.  I think FWD is right on top of this calling for the big stuff to be north of I20.

Looks like you can trace the current cell over Lucas back to this cell. The HRRR continues to do HRRR things and fire storms along the dryline but still nothing in reality.

The 3 pm SPC update drags the 5% TOR over the northern burbs of DFW

Looks like there is an outflow boundary dropping south along I35, passing through Denton, that might be something to watch over the next couple of hours.

an OFB from the storm that traversed Lake Ray Roberts has pushed S of 380 in Denton and is slowing down now. Could be a focal point should anything upstream be able to penetrate the cap and sustain.

That cluster along 287 is heading directly at the Metroplex, rising that boundary. So this in concert with potential dryline explosive development could be a big clusterf**k in the next 2-3 hours.

Yep, last couple of scans you can see the western edge of the boundary stall and start to lift back towards that cluster of cells.

Looking like another HRRR clownshow bust, run after run it had the dryline firing SW of DFW and when it didn't happen, it just pushed it back an hour until the next run. With that said, if anything does fire off the dryline it will eventually cross that boundary that is sagging along the county lines now.

ETA: after temporarily being caught by that super cell, the outflow boundary has commenced racing south again. Also, looks like a dryline bust, HRRR?

Not liking that super hail producer as it heads SE through Denton, hopefully it starts to fade before pushing into Collin County... my tree leaves are just growing back!

Looks like another cell is firing just south of Keller. Also, Lake Lewisville cell is getting gobbled up by that monster

And before today, already $1.5+ billion in hail damage across DFW in the highlighted areas and the cell this evening looks to track across at least a portion of the blue area:
