Have had a streamer off the lakes for several hours now bringing light snow and flurries to my area and portions of northern MD. Looks as if heavier returns are now showing up to the north in this band and if they hold up you have to wonder if they could bring a coating to a quarter or so to a narrow strip of our region especially in the northern sections of Carroll, Baltimore and Harford county. CranberryWX Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 The drizzle turned to light snow before midnight leaving a thin coating of snow this morning...0.4" of snow after all that crappy drizzle/ice pellet stuff yesterday. I sit here and fret over 2 inches of slop, but whenever I manage to spend some meaningful time in Oakland it seems to snow at the drop of a hat. Not only that, but everything over-performs out there. Forecasts for 3-6 seem to always turn into 8-12 on the ridges. Yea we got buried last night 17 degrees 15" snow depth in the valley looks like around 6" last night still snowing moderately Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
