Cell phone grab shot of the landscape behind my work garage. The colors exploded this week up in my area. This was taken right on the Carbon/Schuylkill County line in Andreas, PA along Route 895.

I'm surprised that the oaks are even showing significant change this early. Usually they wait until Halloween and turn in a matter of days.

Though the one stubborn red oak in my backyard is still 95% green - it's always the last tree to change and generally pretty late leafing out in the spring.

I'd estimate about 70% changed now, maybe peak 5-7 days from now.

Gorgeous photos Q-town. Those pics with the dirt road and foliage changing make me feel relaxed just looking at them. Color picked up big time in the past few days, looks like you're near peak.
