Kind of similar to BucksCO above

1) February 1899 (see attached copy of NWS observer's handwritten) - 69.8" of snow that month and over 50" over 3 days

2) Christmas Eve 1966 (alive but too young) 21.2" of snow here in Chesco with Thunder snow

3) 1909 Boxing Day Blizzard in Chesco - 38.0" of snow

4) March 20, 1958 - just a 7 miles up the road in Morgantown - 50" of snow in one day

5) April 11, 1894 - 28.2" of snow from a Mid April event....impressive!

I've struggled to come up with a list corresponding to the places where I've lived and thus realistically could have had an opportunity to experience.

I've already experienced 1991 Saudi Arabian heat, historic 1994 Michigan cold, the 2011 East Coast earthquake, 2011's Hurricane Irene, and the awesome winter storms of 2009-2010.

I hope to God that I never experience an F5 tornado.

Since it's impossible to see a Cat 5 hurricane without terrible human misery, I don't think I'd like to see one.

I experienced some real whoppers of snow drifts in Southeast Michigan in the winters of '77 and '78. Although I can't complain with the East Coast winter storms that I've experienced since moving here in 2006, it sure would be nice to see a snowdrift again that was five feet tall.
