Ok...then most likely you changed over a bit later, I would assume at least...I think that most of Pittsburgh is now between half and an inch of snow.

BTW, I think we should agree to keep our bickering to off this thread...haha.

Ok, I am not doubting that some places got a accumulation, but looking at Traffic Cams Pittsburgh area there is next to nothing on the ground..

Got up around 5:45 this morning for work and I glanced out at the street light and had to do a double take as there was light snow falling and a light accumulation on the car. I wasn't expecting to wake up to that! Sure puts me in the mood to track a storm now.

Can you imagine 3-4+ inches of liquid had it been all snow? :snowman:

Yeah, its so hit and miss.. Franklin Park Cam is dry, but next cam has white grass..

Look at the cams over east near Dishong Mt, and Cresson.

It is very much an elevation snow as well. I have about 3/4 of an inch on the ground here.

I just was over in Lawrenceville, and on my way back home there was nothing on the ground through Etna.

Once I came up Mt. Royal Blvd there was more snow on the ground all the up to the top of the hill.

That would be too much....30-40 inches...haha, can you imagine if that was even a 15:1 ratio!

I can't copy and paste it from my phone but the latest NOAA forecast is calling for 1 to 2 inches today. Maybe we'll get that from the band that's trying to move in now?

Looks like a fairly decent band, and as long as it holds together, it should sit over us for a couple hours....the 1 to 2 is probably total, including this morning.

I was looking at the cams over at Buckeye Traffic, and places like Cleveland, Canton, and Youngstwon didn't look tom impressive with snowfall where they got this band at.

The band has been south of that, I believe...Wheeling had mile and a half visibility last hour...however, the band seems to be breaking up a bit as it moves into western PA.

Yeah, it looks like we're pretty much done in terms of any more accumulation. Looks like flurries and a few scattered snow showers from here on out.
