Thanks, I am in Sea Bright, NJ (just below Sandy Hook) which is one of the most vulnerable areas in NJ for coastal flooding, so I will start paying attention.
Thanks--Mr. Bob---very helpful re FSU during a hurricane--- and for others, Sandy was bad in Sea Bright, NJ----destroyed over 50% of homes and businesses.
My son is a sophomore at FSU. How long was city paralyzed because of Kate---how long did power outages last? We were without power 17 days for Sandy but that would be brutal in Tally with August/early September heat.
My son is at Florida State and they have been very good with the updates---he lived through Hurricane Sandy and 17 days without power -- hopefully the power outages aren't that bad. St Mark's nature preserve is going to get hammered.
