Very curious what the EURO does. 6z was on an island... pretty mediocre snowstorm compared to all other guidance but definitely south. What a headache for NYC forecasters
Problem is you’d think the 3k would in theory be better with the QPF map. I’m willing to toss just to have something to believe in cause this may be it for winter lol
Stole this from elsewhere… but the Graphcast-EURO was real suppressed at 12z. I assume it’s mostly rain/very wet snow for our favored spots, but it’s a very different look than the globals gave at 12z.
Back in the day things would shift north like this every run. 20-40 miles at a time. We’ve got lucky twice this year with it going the other way. Can we do it one more time?
