HREF still looks good. We like that one, right?- 2

It’s a 1-3” storm most likely at this point. Anything more than that is gravy. Bar lowered to 1.5”.

Why not just a total precip map?
I don’t know, but I checked after and I swear it’s all of it. Storm runs through in like 3 hours. No narrative to push - I actually thought that was a good run all things considered -

22z RAP gives DC
The RAP owes me 9” of snow- 2

What time should i set my alarm to get up and take a walk in two inch per hour snowfall?
.I'm gonna try 1am. Maybe a little earlier where you are at. It's a 3-hour storm

i've lowered my bar from 3" to 2". I pray I don't have to lower it any further

at least it's NORTH arlington
Look at the north Arlington perks. On this map you get to basically be in Fairfax county
-
is that a trend or noise? Seems like every model runs goes up and then goes back down a bit
North is a trend… it’s been happening for days.
The southern band being drier is probably just noise. But it’s fun to panic a bit- 1

you may joke... but the difference between the horrific urban snow environment of Crystal City and the Minor Hill (foothills) are vast.

Collect yourself @NorthArlington101. Be strong.
I've got a lot riding on this one. A 6 way parlay of overs from Charlottesville to NYC.

I don't like the kuchera maps for this. Better to come up with a predicted liquid amount and work from there.
psu wants the kuchera maps, you don't want the kuchera maps, chuck is posting snow depth... what's a guy who's only contribution is posting maps to do? either way it's drier... hate to be a deb but drier.

3k is quite a bit better than the 12k - at least for me
It looks a lot like it's last run but drier. At least we get raked for a few hours. This all basically falls in a 3-hour span

well then I'm glad the automated tool that did well in January is beefing up! But good to know, seriously.
