  1. Haha, that’s exactly what I’m doing. Easy enough to trick yourself when you are staying in cabins and have mountains outside (well, when the smoke clears).
  2. Experiencing light ash fall in Canada... something off the weather bucket list. Pretty cool, if not slightly concerning.
  3. Scraped again, but at least the T&L is pretty constant.
  4. Thundering again. Awesome clouds.
  5. Really cool outflow boundary on the pop-up storm by Dale City.
  6. Waaay hotter then yesterday, which was majorly over-hyped. Wondering if a storm is gonna pop again around the metro, HRRR is hinting at it. Wouldn't mind that at all, yesterday the storms cooled me down to the upper 70s, albeit per my car thermometer.
  7. Keep getting hit by heavy pop-up showers, that’s the third this hour.
  8. Radar has 28dbz returns over Stephens City? Realize the good stuff is to your E but should be raining right now.
  9. Apparently this storm had a rotating wall cloud with it, at the very least. This damage would have been from earlier if it was on the S side of Charlottesville.
  10. Only about .2” Good T&L storm though. Fun tracking.
  11. wow! killer cloud to ground strike. no rain yet. Really backs up the whole thunder roars, go indoors. That was out of nowhere compared to the earlier booms.
  12. Hook is peaking out again around Dumfries. Pretty decent booms already in Arlington.
  13. Yep, was trying to post something but it got funky. Circulation all the way up the tilts on RadarScope.
  14. That’s some decent rotation... wouldn’t shock me if something weak was OTG.

  16. Left circle has the “tornado possible tag”, right is almost certainly going to get an STW with probably the same tag.
  17. Line to the west of DC really looks pretty impressive... guess it could totally come to a halt but I’ll admit it would surprise me.
  18. Pardon the ugly warnings boxes but this one clearly has a hook on it too. Just warned.
  19. RadarScope digital storm total has 1.3” in central Arlington already. Astounding difference over two miles.
