    Compared to the NYC and the 5 boroughs sections of 84 are downright rural.

    I definitely don’t want rain. The ground up here is rock hard and with our snow pack even moderate rain would be a disaster as the ground won’t absorb it.

    I don’t think I’ve ever experienced single-digit temperatures with snowfall in my life. Also I don’t ever recall seeing the entire radar of the coastline be complete snow. What a pain in the ass storm to track.

    5° here with blowing snow. Figuring maybe I got 3 inches. Hard to tell because I have had snow on the ground the entire month.

    Cool. Then there is hope for me as I am further East in Lagrangeville in Dutchess. Gonna be heading home soon from the city.

    Moderate snow in lower Dutchess County for 1.5 hours. I think I will see more than forecast come Saturday evening. I’m only under a WWA.

    It’s actually the day after yesterday. The day after tomorrow is Sunday and the storm would have passed. Smiles

    I know we all want YUGE snows but why are we so bent on discounting what the models are saying at this point? It seems they all point to a super tight gradient with the majority of big snows off to the east and yet we wont accept it. Believe me I want 20 + inches.

    That's what she said. After all the pain and suffering this winter we are looking for more than a few to make up for our disappointments.
