    Already sleet in Dutchess County. According to TWC it was supposed to stay snow until 9 am. EPIC FAIL.

    Snow showers up here right now. Ground white. Amazing that the NWS is saying it could sleet all the way up to Albany whereas yesterday the sleet line was lower Dutchess County. Still calling for 6-8 for me as of now. I will take it.

    The only way to stop climate change is more tax money and to spend our way out on costly nonsense. Sorry I’m not buying it. It’s a scam and honest scientists who speak up are censored and or dismissed for not towing the line. That’s NOT science and it ain’t settled.

    Lol a block of ice metsfan saves. That’s classic. It is interesting though that we only measure the snow that actually accumulates rather than what falls. We don’t do that with rain.

    Picked up 1” first go around today and another 3/4” with the squall this afternoon. Nothing like fresh snow to freshen up the countryside.

    29° with heavy snow 1/4 mile visibility. Everything white instantly. Roadways covered as well.

    Funny - I had sleet all morning and this afternoon it went back to freezing rain. Trees really sagging now. My elevation is almost 800’

    I definitely don’t want rain. The ground up here is rock hard and with our snow pack even moderate rain would be a disaster as the ground won’t absorb it.

    I don’t think I’ve ever experienced single-digit temperatures with snowfall in my life. Also I don’t ever recall seeing the entire radar of the coastline be complete snow. What a pain in the ass storm to track.

    5° here with blowing snow. Figuring maybe I got 3 inches. Hard to tell because I have had snow on the ground the entire month.
