  1. I’m more worried about QPF more than the temperature profile for my area. It’s a very thin band of heavier precip on almost all models - and rates will play a factor with marginal temps. 3-6” is my final call for MBY and much of the NYC metro.
  2. That’s a huge 6-10” area - quite bullish, im surprised given his forecasting style. merry Christmas, all!
  3. Looks great to me. But it can stop there lol
  4. A couple of inches less but would still be a fantastic post Christmas storm verbatim.
  5. Don’t love being in the “proverbial” bullseye but feel good for at least 4-5”+; Merry Christmas Eve all.
  6. merry Christmas to you! This is a million times better than usual. Things can’t be perfect
  7. For once it’s actually pretty level. No crazy bittercasting, arguing or over hyping. Most people understand we have a nice 3-6 or maybe 4-8 type storm
  8. Thinking 3-6” is a good bet for most of the NYC metro. Really surprised with the model agreement event with the general placement on the heaviest axis
  9. Still looks good but that’s a pretty thin swath of 3-6” or maybe it’s the unique orientation that’s throwing me off
  10. Wow…I would take any of the outputs from overnight and this morning. This feels too good to be true. merry Christmas Eve to all celebrating!
  11. Too good to be true - but liking where we’re sitting right now
  12. Feeling good about a 2-4”+ event; would round out December nicely after picking up 2-3” this am
  13. a little over an inch so far on all surfaces - looks beautiful out with big flakes falling.
  14. Would take the 5" the euro is showing for Morristown and run...
  15. Even those areas see a 3-5 event with the exception of far eastern LI
  16. A a very rare *run* where all would be happy
  17. love the 3.3 right over my backyard but highly skeptical - believe this is a Trace - 2" for most of the forum. I'll happily take it to add to the holiday festivities.
  18. 4" OTG in Morristown; Heaviest rates of the storm currently; look to have another hour of moderate snow before winding down.
  19. was expecting the same based on radar returns the last 30 minutes, but still nothing...
  20. 20 DBZ returns overhead hopefully will saturate the atmosphere; just virga currently
  21. was just going to say; based on those returns I could see this starting earlier than modeled which was supposed to be 9/10 for my area
  22. I'm with you neighbor; I'm going with 2" for me in Morristown, enough to make things festive hopefully
  23. RAP (i know) on the northern end of the guidance; all in all things like good for a region wide 2-4" (up to 6 locally). good luck all
