Even if it snows there would be zero reason to cancel any plans. It takes a ton of snow to slow anything down in the city and that’s not on the table -
this would be brutal to witness; verbatim 3" in my back yard and 10-20 on LI; will be interesting to see how it plays out but a coastal scraper looks to be on the table at least. Don't think this one has a shot to be big for interior folks, myself included, but we watch..

Goes both ways. The emotions of people clawing at any hope for a storm is equally as annoying as those who dismiss any chance of them. Very few posters on here are capable of being even keel.

06z GFS yields nothing either. The entire run doesn’t show much promise. at this point it would be nice to just see some flakes in the area later this week

Just another solution. This obviously represents the best possible outcome and I’m sure we’ll have many models showing nothing. That’s our envelope right now and will continue to narrow over the next couple of days.

I mean this as nicely as possible but you may be better served by reading more and posting less. The amount of posts you’ve shared that make little to no sense and provide no value is kind of baffling. A little self awareness goes a long way!

GFS has no snow through 384 on it's last several runs and CMC has nothing through 240 -- fun times!

It’s snowed like five different days since mid-December and plenty of cold air around - IMO this winter is off to a great start.

It’s a shame because he’s obviously an intelligent poster but because he’s equally as much a troll, he really ruins his credibility with a lot of people on the board. And when he’s wrong he will never admit it - just moves onto his next troll. Sad for him

Don’t do this to yourself - you know better my man. We can’t always just kick the can down the road. I’m not at all saying we won’t see some snow second week but to keep talking about the ripe patterns that haven’t produced anything in several years is the definition of insanity. wishing everyone a happy and hopefully snowy new year!

Call me whatever you want - just sharing the status of the storm. All precip has stopped and nothing backfilling on radar. It’s all good.

Storm has ended here. Finishing with 0.5” of snow/sleet lol. One of the biggest busts I can ever remember. Noting you can do but laugh. Im literally laughing out loud thinking I tracked this the last couple of days. Hahahahhahaha - I think I’m cracking up

Never an all night but was supposed to snow heavy until 1-3am. Oh well

Enough sleet to sled with my son - that’s a win. Other than that one of the worst modeled and forecasted storm I can remember. I knew there would be precip type issues but there wasn’t one model that had me getting less THAN .40 QPF. Most are .6-.8. I maybe saw .20” max
