Fwiw so far not much of note has materialized in that region post intersection haha

The cell descending the east slope has the better structure right now

As an aside the cell that popped just north of the CT border west of Springfield strengthened quickly.

that 18z Albany sounding wasn't overly exciting

Good news out of Maine has not been due to their strict adherence to social distancing I can tell you that. Nowhere has been more packed with fewer masks than Maine bars aka restaurants (
) the last month plus. Latitude FTW

That’s them. So annoying
They've been terrible down here this year. Much worse than last year actually. Hoards of em.

Sadly I have yet to go to their brewery!
Building 8 IPA is a fine local example of a W Coast hybrid. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, after all these years, still sets the bar for West Coast.I tried to find some Ballast Point Sculpin but apparently it's all back ordered. Green Flash cans are not a bad option in the meantime.
Was a So Cal like afternoon once we mixed out, pretty sweet.

Weird day the way the DP is jumping around.
CEF dewpoint went from 59 to 70 in one hour this evening. Bizarre. Sprinkler?

Top 5 summer night! 72/65
Have to agree. Drunken Rabbit in S Hadley has a nice patio and new West Coast IPA that's pretty decent.
Have been craving some west coast IPA... and an open establishment to consume it.

92/60. Not entirely unpleasant.

Good hike up to Washington this morning.
Great stuff
Temps?

If you're proceeding from Treehouse north and west eventually to 91 you might consider hitting up Brick and Feather in Turners Falls. Or going north to Stone Cow if it's a weekend afternoon evening for barbeque and beers.

Not sure any largemouth in history has hit the 30" mark. Maybe a long skinny carp?

If I did western PA, Erie would be tempting. You have a straight shot south to visit Pit or could head NE for Buff or W for Cleveland. Right by the lake too.
Have fam out there... every time I visit in the summer it seems like we're getting some kind of nice dryish canadian airmass coming over the lake with a couple diurnally driven high based thunderstorms. Pleasant. And on the high end they're capable of a decent tor here and there, including an F4 on the same day as the Wheatland tornado 5/31/85.
Then there's the always the chance of 6-8' in the winter in a week.

a little storm action here, but nothing terribly exciting

90F or higher maxes:
Burlington BTV leads with 12
Bradley Airport BDL has 10
Morrisville-Stowe Airport MVL has 9
Berlin Airport BML has 9
That is utterly insane from a climo standpoint.... just absolutely nuts. Some summer's it is a legit struggle to get 1 day of 90F or higher at BML and MVL.
@Dendrite or anyone else, can you find the average number of 90F+ days at these sites in a summer? I was thinking like 3-4 on average?
This tool has some selectable options for different sites and days with high temps over 90

It's kind of fun to get a little tropical process precip. Very distinct.

This was earlier looking toward the left moving cell in Amherst. Nothing too crazy but still a pretty cool looking sky.
