  1. That bit of rain to the west has generated another severe t'storm warning here - seems a little cool for that, might be stronger down in Delaware. Hearing thunder to the west-south-west now. Interesting... Also, unusual to have (two) severe warnings in the afternoon and a freeze warning for that night. Pretty wild! Eta, that 2nd batch turned out to be just a cool shower. 51F currently.
  2. Had about 10 minutes of rain, some strong winds, a few rumbles of thunder off to the north, and some pea sized hail. Somewhat clearing up a bit, temp. down to 52F. Eta - maybe one more bit of showers off to the west.
  3. Made it to 31F here, definitely some frost on the pumpkin this morning. Currently full sun and 35, nice looking day (so far).
  4. Just had another snow flurry here, bigger and wetter flakes than this morning, with the temp. at 47F. Probably the warmest surface temp. I've seen snow at. Woohoo, lol. I am ready for those low 60's next week though.
  5. Just had a very light snow flurry here. No, it wasn't flower petals coming off the trees, lol. 45F currently. Must be very cold above ground level.
  6. Sun just came out here, 66F. Got another 0.16 of rain for a total of 2.08".
  7. Heard a couple of rumbles of thunder from that line to the west that is severe warned, but it appears to be breaking up a bit, at least north of the Mason Dixon line. 1.92" of rain so far today, and not much wind at all right now. 64F currently.
  8. You might wind up in New England if your "twine" is strong enough!
  9. I saw that (for Wednesday)... is that a modified Wiggum rule effect?
  10. Had a light flurry here as well, around 11 am.
  11. Probably from Birds~69 shaving his head earlier...
  12. Strong winds and big raindrops here for a few minutes, no hail or thunder though. Temp. dropped about 7 degrees, now 59F.
  13. Slept right through it - radar looks pretty impressive from about midnight to 2 am or so!
  14. I did mine the other day, got some clippers online...took about 20 minutes, slightly ragged in the back according to my wife, but it looks fine from the front, lol. Always wanted to do that. It's about 1/2 to 3/4" long now, good for a couple of months!
  15. Finally got the blocking we've been looking for, lol.
  16. The snow pile looked good on it, didn't it though, lol.
  17. And one more, from January 19th this year, the one and only snow pile of the winter, the day after we got 3/4" of snow on 1/18/20. Scraped about 400 feet of driveway to get it this size, lol.
  18. Since I'm posting pics, had to show the White Magnolia, about in full bloom, also about 2 weeks early this year. Been warmer than normal, but kind of a slow roll early spring, so thankfully so far so good. You can smell it from 100 feet away if you're downwind of it. Smells great!
  19. A pic from afterwards, sizes ranged from about 1/4" to 7/16" more or less. Ate one just because :-).
  20. Lots of hailstones bouncing on the lawn here - pretty cool!
  21. Almost continuous ctc lightning (or thunder at least) here ahead of this incoming line. 58F currently.
  22. How was it? Looked like it popped up over the river...
  23. A lot of ctc lightning here, nice orange blob on the doorstep to the west. Currently 48F.
