  1. You need to be in coastal Monmouth County apparently.
  2. Meanwhile, all snow here, coming down at close to moderate rates - yay! Grass even starting to show a dusting. The harder it snows the faster the temp is falling, and vice versa. 36.3F here now.
  3. Likewise here to your north - does it off and on but the snow seems to be getting the upper hand, although still pretty light. Temp. down to 37.8F
  4. Went back to a very light steady rain here, with a few small flakes once in a while. At least the temp. is dropping, 38.8 here now.
  5. Very light snow just starting here, temp. now 39.9F. Eta: back to very light rain here again, temp. now 39.6F. I mean it's so light the word rates doesn't even apply.
  6. Ok that's more like it - very very light snow now, 40.1F.
  7. Radar is somewhat misleading here - had a couple sprinkles (barely) but at the moment nada. 40.3F.
  8. Just started getting some very light rain here after a few minutes of (green) virga. 40.6F currently.
  9. Solid overcast here now, looks and feels more like snow, even if it is 40F currently. DP at 30F.
  10. I was actually looking for flakes, lol. Didn't feel any water droplets though. I'll check again and get back to you. Ok, nada falling. The sky is actually a hazy broken overcast at the moment, i.e. not exactly a snow sky.
  11. Been under some preliminary virga here for about the last 45 minutes, with dim sunlight through the clouds. Currently 38F, DP 29F. 12z NAMs held course, maybe a slight tick SE, but the start time has moved up since last night to around 2 - 3 pm, with an earlier end time, by midnight it would seem.
  12. My expectations are around 3", more would be a bonus. The point is I'm going to enjoy it. Sure it would be disappointing to get less, but for now there's at least an equal chance of more. I never set expectations at the high end for snow, it's weather. Do I hope the high end happens, of course!
  13. Thanks for the aleet! Good news, the Euro is in its wheelhouse now, I mean 24 hours out it's usually in the money, even this winter.
  14. Lol, the cat's out of the bag. I have a machine now, used it the second time on Friday. We still shovel a lot, especially if it's less than 2 or 3 inches, and always areas you can't get except by hand. But yeah, those heavy wet March snows last year kind of drove the point home, we sometimes need to work smarter not harder. And we're not getting any younger. So I got a lawn tractor with a loader attachment, heh heh, to help with the piling aspect. It came in real handy with all the dirt work we did last fall too. Plus it cuts the grass real nice. So we're hoping for a plowable snow tonight, of course.
  15. I had the thought of beating the Nov. 15th storm (4.6" here) which would be a new high, but I've scaled it back to 3" here, more would be a bonus. I'll be ready with my shovel.
  16. Elevation helps, temp. are borderline, and the gradient is pretty tight between NW Phila and the NW burbs. 6 to 8 does seem high though.
  17. I'm rolling the dice that the CMC will be good, lol. Eta, looks like it tightened up the southern edge too. Still in it though!
  18. Here ya go, I still have a little left. I mean it is Saturday night and all.
  19. Don't forget to add an inch or two to that...
