  1. Actual light snow here, a coating on the ground, back edge looks to be getting close though. 34F.
  2. Started here as very light rain about an hour ago, with temp. at 43F. Still light rain but light snow mixing in now, 39F.
  3. Not anything on the ground here, but there are a few flakes falling, yay! 34F here currently.
  4. I saw what appeared to be some buds getting ideas today. Guess they got faked out by the pseudo-winter of Nov./Dec. Sure hope they take it slow till winter returns.
  5. Some light flurries here too. Happy New Year!
  6. Don't worry, February will be rockin this winter, especially with the extra day due to it being a leap year, lol. Although according to my research, the most snow received on a Feb. 29th at PHL is 1 inch. Still would almost double the current total here this season so far, which is 1.3".
  7. Had snow in the air a few times today from flurries, not enough to dust anything up, but nice.
  8. You're right, I know of 2 at least, Vikings - Giants and Vikings - Eagles in December 2010.
  9. My first thought is it shouldn't be too bad due to temps near freezing, traffic during the day, and road salting etc. But it is the weather so stay tuned!
  10. I got up to 8F and a blizzard warning that Sunday morning, with 4" on the ground. It would have been pretty amazing. Apparently the NFL has never rescheduled a game due to snow.
  11. We had a few little patches here this morning also. Emphasis on little, but they were noted!
  12. How did he make it through the screening process, lol.
  13. Just measured a little over 1 inch on the car roofs - ground is white, in December no less - yay!!! 34F currently.
  14. You should do well, radar looks good for NJ, back edge getting close here.
  15. Just to be clear, a snow lamp is any light (fixed or mobile) that is bright enough and/or focused enough to allow the discerning (weenie) eye to spot a single small snowflake in the wee hours of the morning. Similarly, this light allows the trained eye to observe snow beginning to mix in with rain at night. Also works for seeing how hard it is snowing if it's not yet moderate to heavy. I also would guess that most everyone in here has some version of a snow lamp. Wow it went down 2 degrees while I was typing that. 44F here now.
  16. So far here, 7 degrees in 3 hours, or 53 to 46. Wonder if it will be consistent enough to get it to 39 a little after 11 pm. If so, I'll get the snow lamp out around 11:30 and have a look around (that is, if I'm awake, lol). It's been pretty windy here for the last 2 hours also!
  17. Getting light rain and snow mixed here, 38F.
