  1. Snowing light to moderate here now, about a quarter inch so far. Very nice! The driveway was the first place to whiten up which is a nice change...
  2. Very light snow in Glen Mills just started, 25F.
  3. Still under bright greens here and nothing reaching the ground yet. Heavy virga! The RH outside here is 46%, which based on past experience needs to get up to 55 or 60% to see snow making it to the ground.
  4. I'm thinking that is correct, hoping it's not hours until the main batch gets here. Eta - under bright greens here now but nothing yet...
  5. COD radar actually has some yellow speckles in the middle of that line, but also shows it a lot thinner. Time to go sit outside and watch for flakes!
  6. In 1977 they had an icebreaker come up the Delaware, lol. The ice was 2 feet thick I believe. 1994 I call the ice winter - icicles hanging in trees for days, and my yard looked liked it had 3" of liquid ice poured over it. Amazing, you could even see the grass underneath in spots. I remember rolling blackouts due to high power consumption, which surprised me for wintertime.
  7. Lol, I would love too. It's cold enough for driveway stickage, but confidence isn't high down here. Snow shovels are still in the barn so as not to jinx it. Like it makes a difference, lol. Also had a kettle fire last night - pulled out all the stops!
  8. Honestly I've been thinking a lot, if not all, of that first line could be virga, at least down this way where the line gets thinner. The air is pretty dry. Hoping it's not of course!
  9. Made me think of "the double dutch bus", lol.
  10. Gonna have to come up with a new name for it in that case!
  11. Is that like the draft, if we finish poorly this year we get a high draft pick next winter? Haha...
  12. Saw a ladybug here yesterday afternoon....
  13. Most of ours went to the south. Northern Delaware probably got a good bit. Did get a light dusting on top of last nights coating.
  14. Yeah my phone alerted and after last night I was like uh oh what now. When I saw what it was, I said ok, cool! Eta - need it to bump north a smidge!
  15. Actual light snow here, a coating on the ground, back edge looks to be getting close though. 34F.
  16. Started here as very light rain about an hour ago, with temp. at 43F. Still light rain but light snow mixing in now, 39F.
  17. Not anything on the ground here, but there are a few flakes falling, yay! 34F here currently.
  18. I saw what appeared to be some buds getting ideas today. Guess they got faked out by the pseudo-winter of Nov./Dec. Sure hope they take it slow till winter returns.
  19. Some light flurries here too. Happy New Year!
  20. Don't worry, February will be rockin this winter, especially with the extra day due to it being a leap year, lol. Although according to my research, the most snow received on a Feb. 29th at PHL is 1 inch. Still would almost double the current total here this season so far, which is 1.3".
