  1. NYC has a tornado warning, yikes.
  2. That bit of rain to the west has generated another severe t'storm warning here - seems a little cool for that, might be stronger down in Delaware. Hearing thunder to the west-south-west now. Interesting... Also, unusual to have (two) severe warnings in the afternoon and a freeze warning for that night. Pretty wild! Eta, that 2nd batch turned out to be just a cool shower. 51F currently.
  3. Had about 10 minutes of rain, some strong winds, a few rumbles of thunder off to the north, and some pea sized hail. Somewhat clearing up a bit, temp. down to 52F. Eta - maybe one more bit of showers off to the west.
  4. Very nice! That's a lot of shovelling without a smoke break though...
  5. Ha - you may have partially answered my question.
  6. Does anyone know what the game plan is for testing going forward? So far it seems primarily if symptoms are presented or if you work in a high risk environment. It seems like a good idea to have random testing of some sort when we start opening back up, to have a more real time sense of any virus presence locally. Given the availability of testing so far and the absence of federal support for widespread testing, it might be a pipe dream.
  7. Not difficult as long as your knees and back aren't too cranky. Might take a couple of days depending on the size. Do it now before it's hot and humid! You'll like the results.
  8. You should drive around and burn it off so you can get some of that cheap gas.
  9. Made it to 31F here, definitely some frost on the pumpkin this morning. Currently full sun and 35, nice looking day (so far).
  10. Just had another snow flurry here, bigger and wetter flakes than this morning, with the temp. at 47F. Probably the warmest surface temp. I've seen snow at. Woohoo, lol. I am ready for those low 60's next week though.
  11. Just had a very light snow flurry here. No, it wasn't flower petals coming off the trees, lol. 45F currently. Must be very cold above ground level.
  12. Sun just came out here, 66F. Got another 0.16 of rain for a total of 2.08".
  13. Heard a couple of rumbles of thunder from that line to the west that is severe warned, but it appears to be breaking up a bit, at least north of the Mason Dixon line. 1.92" of rain so far today, and not much wind at all right now. 64F currently.
  14. You might wind up in New England if your "twine" is strong enough!
  15. I saw that (for Wednesday)... is that a modified Wiggum rule effect?
  16. Probably far fetched, but real time testing like a walk through bioscanner would help. Also, a breathalyzer type test would be useful. A coronalyzer. If you pass, you're in. There'd be some long lines, but it could work.
  17. Had a light flurry here as well, around 11 am.
  18. Probably from Birds~69 shaving his head earlier...
  19. Strong winds and big raindrops here for a few minutes, no hail or thunder though. Temp. dropped about 7 degrees, now 59F.
  20. Slept right through it - radar looks pretty impressive from about midnight to 2 am or so!
  21. I did mine the other day, got some clippers online...took about 20 minutes, slightly ragged in the back according to my wife, but it looks fine from the front, lol. Always wanted to do that. It's about 1/2 to 3/4" long now, good for a couple of months!
  22. Maybe it will allow next winter to be colder? Lol, but maybe.
