  1. That line was and is warned, I guess some went to sleep early tonight, lol.
  2. Picked up 0.28" of rain from that line, a fair amount of lightning, not too much wind. The air smells great!
  3. Lots of lightning up and down this line - pretty cool.
  4. Getting some lightning and rumbles of thunder from that line approaching from the west. Also a fast ramp up of lightning bug season here the last 2 (warm) nights. The count went from 3 Tuesday night to 7 last night to too many to count tonight. Awesome!
  5. The overnight low inside was 77F, so I gave in and turned on the AC this morning.
  6. For Ralph, if there is no snow involved, it's uneventful, lol.
  7. I think the worst of it shapeshifted past here. Been seeing lightning off to the west (going south of here) for a while now, one of those nice evenings with thunder and lightning off in the distance for an extended period.
  8. Very windy here, no close rumbles though (yet).
  9. In my experience when there are widespread outages, the smaller the group of customers affected by an issue the longer it takes. More bang for the buck in many ways to prioritize a problem that affects 1000 customers vs one that affects 100. Good luck!
  10. Temp. here up to 81F now, DP a tasty 70.7. Got 0.375" of rain from the earlier storm.
  11. Sounds like interesting, but almost too interesting! Glad you're okay.
  12. Sorry for that - good luck! Those early afternoon storms sometimes pack a pretty good punch. Some strong winds and heavy rain here with a couple of rumbles of thunder.
  13. Just a trace of rain here yesterday and overnight. Beautiful day out there, 72F with DP at 61 and going down.
  14. I think they're running about a week behind.
  15. Just had about .10" here, moderate rain rates.
  16. Got 1.10" late last night with a couple of rumbles of thunder. 2 day total of 2.22" - shouldn't have to water for a couple of days, lol. 70F currently and a little humid.
  17. 1.12" of rain so far today, more than I expected. Currently 66F.
  18. Pretty nice temps as well, 60's and 70's. A nice stretch of spring weather...
  19. I was pretty surprised to see a couple of lightning bugs last night. 1st warm night and there they were! 70F here currently.
  20. Agree 100%. Not enough of a root system to take the heat, although semi shaded areas could have a chance. Usually when I seed in the spring it's a temporary aesthetic fix and maybe to reduce erosion, but I pretty much count on re-doing it in the fall. I understand Eskimo's desire to get some nice grass going, but I found some humor in wanting 6" or more of rain next week right after seeding. An internal conflict, lol.
  21. If you get the kind of rain you're hoping for, it could move the dirt and seed around a little bit. Then again, it's the weather - you never really know. I'll usually roll the dice, but I've also had my share of do-overs. Sometimes that ideal stretch of weather is hard to come by, and sometimes it happens when it's not expected. Like if you got 1" total of rain next week, that would be great for germination. It makes it interesting.
  22. Not taking anything away from the cool start to this month, and I don't know what the high will be there tomorrow, but 2020 might have to settle for 4th place? If you can get past tomorrow, you've got a shot at May 22nd... Interesting that just last year is tied for 3rd place at May 19th!
  23. What a beautiful day! Not a cloud in the sky, and 60F here.
