  1. Yeah, I've been watching it...hoping it takes it's sweet time. HRRR shows it taking till 6 pm, NAMS till about 4 pm. Meanwhile I'm enjoying the heck out of it! Peeps up north are gonna get blasted...
  2. Just started, lol. 2.5" here so far, heavy snow baby!
  3. Can confirm, coming down heavy here, visibility is about 600 ft. Awesome! 29F, DP 24. Gonna go get the snow shovels out of the barn, oh yeah!
  4. Steady light to moderate snow here, 30F, DP 22. Small flakes with some medium sized ones starting to mix in. Measured 0.3" on top of the car. Eta, looks great blowing sideways when the wind picks up!
  5. I'm in the 2 to 4 in zone 3, which is probably about right. Sucks being on the gradient edge! Nevertheless, if I get 3" I'll exceed last winter's total, so there's that. It sure looks and feels like snow, got that raw breeze out of the ENE. And as I'm typing, 1st flakes! Hoping for a nice snowy afternoon at least!
  6. The one change Id like to see at this point is the low center east of the Delaware coast, instead of in Delaware. Everything else is lining up nicely.
  7. You got a Greenskeeper welcoming weiner - what's not to like? I think we've all been there, once or twice I had the thought of responding to my own post, like "great post Kamu! etc. etc." but it wasn't too hard to let the idea go, lol.
  8. Nah, you're good - let it fly! You can always clean it up afterwards, lol. We're pretty relaxed in here.
  9. Paul, are you sure 1989 didn't have snow on the ground at Christmas? In Delco we did, leftover from earlier snows, even though it was gone by New Years.
  10. Maybe they thought they got the maintenance-free models, lol. Good job on letting them sit for now.
  11. He's semi-selective, but you'll probably get one for this post, lol.
  12. Hey now, you're talking to the crazy couple who "shoveled" 500 feet of driveway last winter to get a 2 foot high pile of powder, from the 2nd biggest snowfall of the season, a whopping 1/2", lol. Also the only time we had snow stick to the driveway. Let's see if this winter brings enough for a larger snow pile!
  13. Never came down hard enough here for anything noticeable on the ground, but it's been nice to have the on and off light snow for most of the afternoon. Right now getting some star shaped snow pellets. Nice day!
  14. 1.14" storm total here. The pivot looked nice on the radar very early this morning.
  15. A dusting here as well, 1st of the season! Based on radar, looks like it fell roughly from 6 to 6:30 am. Currently 41F.
  16. Mostly just heavy rain here, up to 2.60" for the day, looks like we might be done with the worst of it. Currently 61F.
  17. Since we spend so much time outside here, I've been enjoying this weather. Lots of wood to split, and evenings testing the results with a kettle fire. One more blowing of leaves probably, maybe a mow to be sure it's less than 2" long so the snow lays on it nice, good stuff. I was fireside about as late as you were last night, lol. It's been seasonably warm for the most part but not over the top. Feels like a nice lead in to some snow in December, that's my mindset at the moment anyway.
